Hi, I took chemistry honors this past year as a sophomore. I will be taking the IB chemistry HL class next year as a junior, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for resources to prepare/preview over the summer? I have taken bio but not physics. I will be taking the SL exam but need to prep for the HL class anyway.
to be a top applicant for ivys/T20s, do colleges expect your teacher to rate you in the top 5% or very very very top in careeer categories for (almost) everything?? or even the category that's best in career?
does my referee (teacher) need to approve my essay before the late extension deadline (june 21)? or do i just need to submit her name by then?
should i be incorporating philosophy into essays that aren't in the philosophy category? for ex. science/tech or public policy?
got rejected from summer programs. no back-ups. for science/bio research.
