Watched the movie twice, favorite movie ever, but I can't claim to fully understand it. What's the best way to view the movie in a way? (+ A few general questions)

s it a "wrong" way of watching when I don't totally understand all the pages of Sparrow and the tangent universe and what it means? The film feels a lot "realer" for me, idk. What's your take on it? What's the best way to enjoy/view the movie?

Also a few questions regarding it:
From what I've gathered, the 28 days are the tangent universe which somehow was caused by the engine. Donnie has to send the engine back so everybody doesn't die. But when does he realize all that? Why was Frank so important? I get that his father/Grandpa was apparently cursed from what Donnie's parents talk about in the hotel, but does that mean anything for the story? And about Gretchen, do we ever get to know what happened to her mother/father? How did Donnie send the artefact back? Do his mother and sister die in the tangent universe because the turbine comes from their plane? what happens to the tangent universe Donnie? Just random questions that popped up rn.

About the "reference" in Nolan's Odyssey

I know this post has probably been made a lot but I couldn't find any in the search of the past week which pointed out just how much of a stretch it is, so yeah.

I absolutely love EPIC, it was my introduction to the Odyssey to the time when the thunder saga was still only releasing. Haven't listened to it for some time as I kinda became more obsessed with the actual Odyssey and history and armor and became a bit estranged with the fandom, but that's kinda pointless to note. My "issue" is all the people saying that the scene where Odysseus strings his bow and four sounds play is a definite reference. Just thinking that as a theory? Fine. But saying that it directly credits EPIC, is a DEFINITE reference without a doubt or spread that information as a truth rather than an unconfirmed theory, which is what it is, are wrong. It also takes away a bit of credit from the guy that made the music by saying that Jorge somehow owns those four sounds (over which you could literally put any four words, not just "I'm just a man") because the soundtrack is really beautiful.

I personally don't think it's a reference just because of how Christopher Nolan is regarding social media and because of how much of a stretch that is. It's just four sounds. And the same sort of theme appears in multiple pieces of the soundtrack so I doubt it could be just a small reference. That's not the issue obviously, everyone can have their opinion, but just don't take away credit from the maker of the score and don't just spread misinformation as simply as that.

Not sure how this post will be perceived, doesn't really matter as long as people don't think I hate EPIC or free speech or anything, just don't want this to turn into another trend of saying things that are simply not true or not proven to be true, which wouldn't be new in this community TBH. I'm just a man after all✌️

I hate myself for everything and I don't know what to do

I want to start off by saying that I've never (directly) hurt myself and DON'T want to die. A girl actually likes me, so I should be happy.

I should be. I have everything I could want. And that's the issue. While people starve, die of the cold and have all these issues, I just live normally. Everything bad I notice somehow traces back to me.

The main issue is that every time I go to sleep, I just think about how much stuff I have: Stuff I don't use, stuff someone else could use much better, stuff that's expensive, stuff I don't like - and it's unfair. I've done nothing to deserve anything. I don't think I deserve anything. I work out and I like making progress so it's not like I hate having any thing like relationships or progress or good grades, I mainly mean physical possessions or gifts

I'm noticeably very shit at explaining what I mean and just keep on writing and writing and I don't know if this is even the right place for this but sometimes at night I feel like I should die for being this terrible. Not do it myself, not hurt myself, but just die.

*This post is a few days old, just reposted it today. I went shopping and I got some things and I really like it but I feel like I don't deserve it obviously because I've already had stuff and other's in the same city are homeless and I'm just lost. I even hate myself for others, if they are ungrateful or they do something bad.
