22F | Looking for some good conversations :)

Hey everyone!

I'm a 22F from Cape Town, and I thought I'd put myself out there and see who I might meet. I'm open to chatting with both guys and girls, and would love to make some new friends and have some genuinely good conversations.

A little bit about me: I enjoy going to the movies, doing Pilates, and, of course, reading. I read quite a lot, so book recommendations are always welcome :)

I graduated with my law degree in March and am currently doing my practical legal training, with the hope of starting articles next year.

Personality-wise, I'm probably reserved when I first meet someone, but once I'm comfortable I'm much more talkative.

I enjoy getting to know people and hearing about different perspectives and experiences. So I’m hoping to meet people from different backgrounds and walks of life.

I’m not expecting anything in particular from this post, just hoping to meet some interesting people and maybe make a few genuine friendships along the way.

If you think we'd get along, feel free to send me a message!

Are there other Christians in their early 20s who don't want kids? - 22f Christian

I'm a 22f Christian (non-denom), and one thing I've been struggling with while navigating Christian dating is that it seems the overwhelming majority of people my age want children someday.

I've thought a great deal about this and honestly think I'd be happiest without kids. I'm completely open to marriage and building a Christ-centred life with someone, I just don't see parenthood as part of it.

It makes me wonder if there are other Christians in the 22-25 age range who feel the same way, or if this is just an incredibly small minority?

If you're someone who also doesn't want children, where have you found community? Are there specific Christian dating spaces where people are more open to not wanting kids? Or is this something that's just going to be a bit more realistic for me heading into my late 20s and early 30s?
