I returned to academia in my 50”s to get the physics degree I knew I wanted all along. I’m almost done, 13 credits to graduate and off to the next level. This is my view every time I sit down to work. My collection grows with each semester.🪐 There is nothing frivolous about my toys. Within them are spatial design, texture and tactility, geometric order and visual rhythm. They are in many ways visual anchors. Staring at them is a cognitive reset requiring no intellectual processing but offering maximum sensory satisfaction. 🥰

He is my absolute best friend ever!

I ordered these Sunday night. They arrived this morning, Thursday, that is super fast! Now I have three and that is not enough; because look at how gorgeous these girls are! I love the little pouch that they come in. I’m going to repurpose them. As it turns out, both pieces look really good on my purse🥰🥰🥰. I keep them all in my study, as all of my Popmart friends are “study buddies”.

I thought I’d decompress after my summer semester ended and I get this time off before fall starts. However, watching Homeland to decompress is not a thing. I watched this show 15 years ago on Showtime. I loved it. I absolutely loved it. However, Kari in the storyline is not for decompressing. I just finished season one and let me tell you the way she crashes out has me stressed. You know that someone is Uber talented when they can make you feel all the angst that you felt the first time you watched it. I know exactly what’s going to happen and yet I am still upended by her performance and the storyline overall. This was the best show. Claire Danes is amazing in it actually everyone is amazing in this show the writing the cinematography everything is fantastic. They don’t make them like this anymore. I’m gonna watch it while I’m taking a cognitive break, but am I taking a break?🤔
