I ordered 1 and Walmart sent me 9

I ordered 1 and Walmart sent me 9

Yes I checked, I only paid for 1

Edit to add: I would love to send these and share with everyone!! but my husband is uber honest and we are taking the extra back (plus I’m scared of bad karma, but wanted to share the weird shipping error!)

Edit #2: Walmart is very confused on why I reached back out and doesn’t understand what I’m trying to return so we are donating the extras to some friends

Am I overreacting about daycare

I’m not sure if I’m overreacting.. but when I went to drop my 13mo old off at daycare this morning there was only 1 other kid and the teacher (never met her, she was temp in the room) had the 2 kid watching an iPad.

We’re limited screen time just because we want to try and interact with our toddler as much as we mentally can. I was peeved, because why do I pay almost $400/mo to the learning experience chain if they’re going to put an iPad in front of a kid. I can do that at home for free?

I let it slide, whatever.

I went to pick my kid up later, they had consolidated her down to another toddler room, and I was filling out paperwork at the front desk but I could hear a child SCREAMING. I was paranoid it could be mine, she’s a lot… but this went on for awhile because the front desk was reviewing some allergy paperwork and having me complete it. By the time I starting walking to get her, I can confirm it was her screaming the whole time.

When I got to the door the teacher (also have never met, not sure why there were so many new faces today) was staring in a pissed off way at my kid while 3 others were huddled around an iPad. I grabbed her and stormed out and let the assistant director know how displeased I was by the fact my child was screaming her head off and the worker wasn’t even attempting to fix the situation while the only other kids in the room were watching an iPad.

I went home and my kid continued to be upset, like the type when they get overly upset and it’s hard to calm down. I handed her off to my husband and drove back to daycare to put in our 1 month notice (yes these clowns require 1 month)

I expressed how upset I was and the assistant director apologized over and over and said she had already confronted the worker but would also be bringing it to the director’s attention. She said all screen time should be a minimum of 15 mins and completely interactive. She asked me to please let her speak to the director and they would give me an update tomorrow.

I’m really upset with the lack of care for my child in that moment, but I know this is one person that works there and not necessarily the whole center.

We’ve only been here 3 weeks. We recently bought a house and moved so we had to move daycares, our last daycare was wonderful and the assistant director from this center use to work at our last daycare before we happened to move as well.

My husband is just as upset, he’s blaming all of her terrible 13mo behavior on daycare neglect (she has no teeth yet at 13mo and may be teething, she’s starting to walk without help, and she’s having separation anxiety) which I don’t think is related.

Am I overreacting if I pull her out or am I under-reacting if we continue to use this daycare?

Edit to addd: I see after posting how long this is. Thank you if you read this and are taking the time to respond.. I’m trying really hard to be reasonable but look out for my kid and just need some opinions..
