I honestly don't know if this is a normal phase of running a business or if I'm doing something terribly wrong.

Over the last few months, I taught myself candle making from scratch. I invested my own savings, experimented until I had products I was proud of, built my own website, bought a domain, set up shipping, and handled everything myself.

I thought creating the business would be the hardest part.

Turns out... it wasn't.

Now I keep asking myself: How will anyone even know my business exists?

No matter how good the products are, if no one sees them, no one buys them. That thought has been stressing me out a lot lately.

I don't have a huge marketing budget. I'm just someone trying to build something from the ground up.

For those of you who have been through this:

\- How did you get your first customers?

\- What marketing actually worked without spending a fortune?

\- At what point did things finally start gaining momentum?

I'd genuinely love to hear your stories because right now it feels like I built a beautiful shop... in the middle of a forest where nobody knows it exists.

I seriously need opinions because this situation is starting to annoy me 😭

There was a guy (A) who liked me, but I clearly told him I’m already in a relationship. We talked for a bit after that, then things ended and now we don’t talk at all.

But now his friend (B) is acting weird.

The thing is, B ALSO told me he’s in a relationship. And I am too. So everything should be clear, right? But no. This guy randomly calls me at 2–3 AM like it’s completely normal 💀 On top of that, he keeps asking me to meet him, and when I say I’ll bring my friend, he straight up says he doesn’t want to meet with her, only me.

That’s where it started feeling off.

I even asked him directly why he still talks to me when his own friend doesn’t, and he just said “wo bahot change ho gaya hai.” Like… okay? And that explains THIS behavior how? 🤡

At this point I’m just confused and irritated. Both of us are in relationships, I’ve never given him any signals, and still he’s acting like this — late night calls, wanting to meet alone, acting involved for no reason.

I don’t know if he’s just being shameless or testing boundaries, but it definitely doesn’t feel right anymore 🚩
