Created a simple page for instructing users on how to fix their "Got GNOME'd" situations of accidentally installing GNOME on the Mint Wiki:
Valorant's Anti-cheat Vanguard May Be Violating EU Law
Specifically when it modifies other executables such as crashing Deadlock and preventing its repairing or reinstallation. (https://www.reddit.com/r/DeadlockTheGame/comments/1t391t3/vanguard_crashed_deadlock_then_locks_deadlockexe/)
EDIT 1: The issues related to Deadlock have been fixed, but Vanguard does continue to open handles to new executables for hashing which can lead to temporarily locking them and affecting files outside the video game. (https://imgur.com/a/cRptD9T)

Linux Mint Community Wiki Domain Update
You can now access The Linux Mint Community Wiki with a new domain at:
https://mintwiki.org
Link: https://mintguide.miraheze.org/wiki/Installing_Linux_Mint
📝 Notes:
- Currently since Linux Mint is merging the LMDE installer into normal Linux Mint, the guide has been made to work with LMDE in mind, it is possible it will be updated in the future with newer instructions in section "9. Install Linux Mint" as there is a difference in the way the 2 installers work and it's possible the LMDE installer may receive some changes to the UX.
- Special thanks to everyone over at the Linux Mint Community Discord server for helping out with the creation of this guide.
Notes:
- Linux Mint Steam Share: 8.98%
- Global Linux Steam Share: 4.52%
New Steam Survey has come, as per is usual each year around roughly March and April the Steam Survey experiences spikes in data after which they stabilize and that is this month.
For reference in December 2025 Linux was at 3.58% share.
