I hope the MCU keeps the X-Men horny energy in the movies
Failed OSCP exam on my second attempt, looking for advice
As the title says, I failed my 2nd exam attempt which I had yesterday. I ended up on 50 points with the AD root and one standalone. This is a better result compared to my first attempt in April where I only got 10 points. This exam felt harder than the first one and I feel that I'd have passed if I got my first set.
I intend to resit the exam at some point this year as I still have my LearnOne till December.
I am thinking of maybe enrolling to the TCM academy and redoing all of the Lainkusanagi by myself as I have been using hints to maximise time as I work full time as a software dev which can be mentally tasking at times and also have a family that I want to spend time with.
Anything else that people would suggest?
Though I'm gutted by the result, I should remember that I have responsibilities such as work and family and the I only started fully trying in cyber security last October when I enrolled for the eJPT (which I liked) and started with Offsec in December.
Looking forward to hearing what people say

Dissection of masculinity
I'm almost finished with the show and one thing I've noticed especially as the show gets close to the end is how they use Jonasi as a way to critique masculinity.
Jonasi is a brand of masculinity that I've seen a fair few times, the lust, the anger, the need for control and the pride.
I feel the show does a good job of showing how all these traits aren't good as they often end up leading to one's downfall.
The sad thing is that many would say these are the traits are prototypically male but masculinity contains multitudes, as show by Magesh who is a mirror to Jonasi in a way (that's a post for another day ha)
Game decided to give him an example as he spoke
Reminds me of the old Internet days where you never knew what you'd get on limewire
And yes, I know I've aged myself with thay reference
Interesting observations (wonder what everyone else thinks)
I have started watching the show yesterday with my wife and we have really been enjoying it. That said, I have had some interesting observations that I want to see what others think.

- I have noticed that most of the tiktok videos talking about the show are from black people. It's quite nice to see that the show has been embraced in such a good way by the community.

- I'm from Southern Africa myself and have heard stories about men like Jonasi. Is this the same in other areas?

- It's interesting how family secrets of great importance are kept in families where the aim is to protect the image of the family or certain people at the detriment of the children.
