Advice on what yall would do to improve this boat.

Hey yall, I bought this 1648 Jon boat a couple weeks ago for a pretty good price. It’s got a hole in the bow because some idiot towed it without a roller (it was me). What’s the best way to go about fixing it? Also, the previous owner cut out the transom support legs, should I Jerry rig a replacement, or should it be alright. I plan to redo the transom some time soon, because I think it needs it. I want to add a decent floor for standing and casting, but I want to add seating too. What would yall do if this boat was yours?

Is putting a bench in the center feasible?

I’ve got this 1656 Jon boat and the center bench has been removed and thrown away. What are my options for putting one back. Or if it’s not really doable, what should I do for seating?

Is this a good buy?

1654 Lowe with a 40 evinrude. He wants 2k for everything including the trailer.

What would yall pay for this? And any idea who manufactured it?

It’s a 1548 with a 25 Johnson 2 stroke and trailer. It’s got a new transom too. He has no idea what brand it is.

Is this a decent starting point and price?

I’ve got him talked down to 1,100 and he’s says it’s a 1444. What do y’all think?

Is this a decent deal?

It’s a 1648 Lowe for 1500. It comes with the trailer. The transom needs rebuilt. And for 100 bucks more, he’ll throw in the two motors, are they worth it?

Thoughts on this?

1200 for this 1448 Monark boat. It’s got a chunk taken out of one of the benches, and a redone transom that I’m not 100% confident in. It’ll come with an old mini kota and a Johnson sail master 9.9. What do yall think? Is it a good deal?

First time boat owner, I ended up getting this Monark 1436 for 1,000 with a (sketchy) trailer and mini kota trolling motor.

What do yall think?

Hey guys I need a recommendation

I just got a jon boat and it came with a mini kota endura 45lb thrust. What kind of battery and charger should I go for? What brands hold up best, etc.

Hey guys, I’m looking to buy a 14ft Jon boat, where should I be looking.

Broke 23 year old guy here. I’m looking to spend 1,500 or less on a used Jon boat. 1448 would be best, where should I be looking?

Help me pick a good set up please!

Hey yall, I’m currently using an Abu Garcia mlf 2000 spinning reel on an Abu Garcia mlf medium heavy rod. I want to upgrade and keep it around 300 dollars or So. I mostly use finesse baits and was thinking about the 2500 shimano Nasci with a St. Croix bass X medium fast. Are these good choices?

Hey y’all, I’m new to fishing North Georgia near Canton. Any tips?

I want to go for catfish mainly, but I’d like to dip my toes in bass fishing too. I tried Allatoona over the weekend, but didn’t even get a nibble.
