Tommy Joe’s is a horrible establishment
The manager and some staff are so racist! And it’s not the first time I’ve heard of this happening here. Turns out their management is pretty discriminatory. How is this place still open?

I’m conflicted on whether I should even fill this out and im wondering if anyone has any thoughts.
I grew up low-income, with it getting worse when my mom got cancer when I was in middle school. My dad still provided but he was a pretty horrible father. I am now estranged from my father because of his psychological abuse. We have never owned a home and have moved around a lot. We lived in mobile homes and short term stays in relatives’ spare rooms.
I’ve been working since I was 14 but my mom never wanted me to have to contribute to regular bills but I still helped in emergencies. When my grades slipped, she also encouraged me to quit.
The reason I’m conflicted is because my mom still put her all into prioritizing my education by recognizing that was important so I did not feel the effects as much because she tried to shield me from our financial instability. We relied on food banks and food stamps but I already write about that in my activities to introduce my food banks volunteering now.
