Tired of Xiaomi copying Apple on everything

I really love Poco's hardware, currently using the F3 , that aside form the battery runs like new.

What I don't like is how Xiaomi (and not only Xiaomi) copy Apple design, so your android phone that you spend hundreds on it feels like a cheap clone of an iphone.

Google's material UI is very good and has personality, I don't know why people don't criticize Xiaomi for just following apple on everything it does. People that want iphone probably have an iPhone, its not expensive to buy one second hand if you really want an iphone.

So, my point is that I don't know if my next phone will be a Xiaomi /poco, I don't want an OS that is basically iOS but worse (design-wise).

Really wish Xiaomi could be like samsung or nothing and bring something new to the table instead of copying Apple's work but way worse.

I'm trying an iPhone 12 mini and boy the experience on iOS is on another level (saying this as very much an apple hater to be fair).

What do you think ?

Sell or keep iPhone 12 mini

2 weeks ago I bought an iphone 12 mini with 89% battery health for 170€ to try iOS and the Apple ecosystem.

I love android and probably won't ever fully switch to iphone, but I like tech so I like trying things.

The 12 mini I got is in very good condition, and right now im using it as a more focused device without games of social media, just for photos, journaling, etc.

I can sell it for the same price I paid for, so I don't know if its worth keeping or not

"Rebuilding" RP Classic setup

I love my RP Classic, but I don't feel it's a proper console someties, kinda like the Miyoo Mini does.
Now I use ES-DE with a basic setup that loads directly to the fav games.
So , I just wanted to ask for tips to improve the overall console feeling of the Classic and add features that can enrich the gaming experience.

I was thinking about trying Retro Achievement's, but I don't know if will distract me from actual gaming. Any cool frontend that has features like time tracking or anything that makes it feel more like a console OS?

Thanks for your help.

I just fried my Miyoo Mini v2

What a fucking awful day to start my day.

I loved my v2 MM.

Hopefully I find a v2 motherboard to replace it...
