Got Hela to champion and the animated icon finally!
I honestly really enjoyed the grind to get it. I'm super happy to have it now, though. I love the look of the animated icon.
Now it's time to get her to level 70 for the rest of the stuff!

I love everything about Hela outside of the game but also in the game too. Everything from her kit to her voice to her skins, it's all so perfect.
I never get tired of playing her, and she's so satisfying to play when you're doing well on her. Her kit is so fun, too. I love hitting all my piercing night daggers into an enemy and watching them explode.
Hela's voice actress Nika Futterman is absolutely exceptional as Hela, I never get tired of hearing her lines. They're delivered so well. Her voice is honestly what I hear when I see Hela in the comics.
Her skins are just perfect, Hela literally has no bad skins imo and most of them are some of the best in the game. (Grim Lady, for example)
She's one of the few characters I nearly have champion at and one of the ones I actually want to get to Lv70 with to get everything.
I just love playing her and everything about her character.
Bit of a smaller question compared to stuff like his kit or role, but I'm still curious about this.
I assume it'll likely be his family, but do you think it might be something else?
I'm so excited for Gorr next season. He's genuinely the first character in a while I'm personally super hyped for. His kit potential, interactions, voice lines, etc, I just can't wait.
It's funny because I didn't even really expect a character like Gorr this early, I assumed they'd probably go for the big villains like Green Goblin, Dr. Doom, Thanos, etc. first. But I'm glad they picked Gorr. He's an awesome character, especially as someone who wants more villains in the game.
Honestly, I'm hoping he's a tank, but even if he's a DPS, I'm still maining him next season. I'm definitely curious what kind of skins they'll give him, too.
I'm honestly so excited for Gorr, and something I've been thinking about is, who's gonna voice him?
I've seen someone suggest Sam Witwer (Voice actor for Darth Maul in Star Wars media) who I think would be an absolutely perfect choice, he's an incredible voice actor and I think he could really suit Gorr. Especially because other voice actors from Star Wars media (Nika Futterman-Hela and James Arnold Taylor- Magento) already voice characters like Hela and Magneto in the game.
I'm also incredibly excited for his interactions with other characters, especially all the Asgardians and other characters like Dr. Strange and Storm.
Who would you like to voice him/Who do you think they may pick?
Honestly, this is fine, I'm glad her damage, range, or main abilities aren't being affected. I do think this kind of just makes the Venom team up the superior teamup even more now, though. The squids are still gonna be very useful and good, of course, though.
What do you think think about this nerf?
Feels amazing to finally have this, Loki was my first lord and the first character I really fell in love with, so this feels like a proper achievement.
They did so well on this skin, it's absolutely amazing.
This skin looks absolutely incredible! The recolours look awesome, as does the VFX, and so do the sounds. Thank you for cooking like usual Double G!!
Also, I'm so glad Hela's finally got VFX and another skin with recolours.
Has anyone else experienced this bug? If you're using any of Hela's legendaries, Grim Lady, Queen in Black, or Helen Angerboda, if you activate your crow, it uses the default sound effects instead of the legendaries unique ones.
I really hope they fix this bug soon if they're aware of it, I love the SFX of these skins!
Honestly, I love the look of this skin already. I'm very excited to see it in the game! It's definitely an instant buy for me.
Not really a balance discussion, just a general question for everyone.
I think Loki's biggest strength that's still true to this day is the healing potential. I feel like Loki's always had really good tools for keeping your team alive. I've had scenarios where, with all three clones plus the extra 10 healing on direct hits, it's allowed me to save my tanks and team.
Obviously, Runes, too, are such a good tool in Loki's kit that allows you to save your team from ults or a bad situation.
And Loki's ult is, of course, still very strong due to being able to copy any ult.
What do you think Loki's very good at?
What I mean by this is when you press L3 and R3 or Q if you're a PC player, you now fly up into the air way quicker than before.
It feels really great, honestly, especially with her ULT also being 1200 HP now. I always felt like Hela's ULT was one of the weaker parts of her kit.
It's funny, I wasn't even planning on playing Loki this game and wanted a DPS game, but I ended up filling.
I actually really like Jubilee with Loki. Her ult feels great to copy imo.
It was nice getting MVP, too. I feel like Loki can be really hard to get MVP on sometimes.
Personally, I haven't got to use her too much, but when I have, she feels great. I know the season literally just started but:
-Her range and damage feel really good and consistent.
-Her crow feels so much smoother and more reliable now.
-Both team ups feel really good, I'm personally leaning towards using the Namor team up mostly unless I have a Venom on my team, though.
-The ULT feels better. The HP increase to 1200 makes it much better, and it means you can get more shots off. Plus, again, the Namor team up makes it feel good, too.
-I've even seen her getting banned a few times, which is crazy because I'm on console where Hela's not been banned in here for months.
What's your thoughts on her so far?
Sorry for the mid quality, btw. But personally, I love these changes.
She's getting her damage and range back, and we can freely fly in crow form!!!
That's it, really. This is just a small ramble about it. I just love everything about it. Maybe it's nostalgia because it's been my favourite since I was a kid, and it still is, but I can rewatch it over and over and still get the same excitement every watch.
Getting to see Jabba and his Palace is so cool! Especially the rancor. And the sarlacc pit fight never gets old.
The reveal from Yoda about Leia being Lukes sister and Luke refusing to give up on his father is such a pivotal and important moment.
And then the second death star is just awesome. And Palpatine excels in this film. He's so fun to watch and see how evil and manipulative he is.
Honestly, the whole Endor sequence is probably one of my favourite parts from the whole franchise. The ground battle with the ewoks and at-sts is such a great time. I love the ewoks. The speeder bikes and scout troopers, too, are some of my favourite troopers and vehicles.
And then the space battle is so awesome. Seeing Lando lead it in the falcon and seeing Xwings, B wings, A wings, Y wings, and more all together against the death star really makes it feel like this huge big battle. I love the tension, too, and the moments where you think it might be it for the rebels.
The Luke vs. Vader fight/sequence is one of my favourite parts in all of Star Wars. I love how it's not about being an epic duel but the emotions and Luke trying to appeal to Anakin. And the music is so amazing in this part. When Vader talks about turning Leia and that choir starts? It's absolutely incredible. And again, Palpatine is just so good in all these scenes.
And then when Luke refuses to give in and turn to the dark side, and Palpatine commits to destroying him? You think this could be it for Luke, but then Vader redeems himself, becoming Anakin again and saving Luke and showing he had that good inside of him. Anakin then admitting to Luke that he was right about him is such an emotional sequence.
The end is just perfect, too. The death star is destroyed, the empire has been defeated, and the good guys get to celebrate the victory. Victory celebration is such a brilliant track, too. It's so fitting. And you get to see the force ghosts of Anakin, Yoda, and Obi Wan see that Luke did it.
Sorry if this is a pretty messy ramble, and I repeated myself, I just love the movie and adore it so much.
She has little stars on her nails! This is such a small detail that most people won't notice, but it's awesome that the devs put so much effort into this skin. It makes me love it even more.
