Hi Guys, I have a question about symptoms and timeline. How many years on average do you think people with ALS like symptoms need to experience before you can savely rule things out? For example. If you symptoms started in 2022 and slowly progress but you can still walk and talk in 2027. How likely is ALS on average?
How rare are facial pins and needles and Tinnitus in ALS? Any guesses?
I am so sick of reading stories of people twitching and symptoms coming and going. It makes me really sick. Please, take one minute of your RATIONAL mind and READ about ALS. If your symptoms COME and GO. If you experience symptoms SOMETIMES you really didnt take the time to help yourself. ALS IS A STEADY DECLINE. Nothing improves, never EVER. If you had improvement. Leave this reddit. Delete the app and never return.
How did the twitching progress for all of you? Did it start in 1 limb and slowly spread over time? Im curious. Mine started slowly.
After 3-4 years of onset symptoms. How many percent of the ALS patients will experience limb failure/real weakness by now?

I would love to hear just one story of some1 in my shoes because I cant take it anymore. Since 2021-2022 my life became pure hell on earth. I started to experience tingling feet, bladder incontinence, muscle pain. At the end of 2022 after being sick for 4 weeks with a intense headache a LOUD Tinnitus started to join the party together with my vision being affected ( floaters,visual snow ). My bowel function is gone also. Now im convinced I have ALS. My muscles started to slowly twitch over the last 3-4 years. To the point om non-stop twitching. PLEASE tell me there is some1 atleast in the same boat… im a 33 year old dad..
Who else had Dysautonomia symptoms together with the twitching? What are your symptoms of Dysautonomia? Did you find a cause?
I have been wondering how the twitching pattern is for you guys and would like to hear about it. For me its always the same muscles. Once they start they keep twitching. Every few minutes. It just doesnt stop. Who has the same pattern? Im pretty much full body now. But Some spots seem to scare me more. Specialy my belly/chest area. Would really like to hear other stories!
