ICE ERO ---> CBP OFO
Before I say anything else get the irony of this post since alot of OFO usually jump ship over to ERO. Obviously I'm considering the opposite.
I know CBP's hiring process is notoriously long but all the current postings I see on USAJobs are direct hire. If I currently possess a TS/SCI clearance w/ a T5 background check as well as currently being DHS law enforcement, could this possibly speed up the hiring process?
I'm likely gonna get alot of questions on why I'm considering jumping to OFO and in all honesty 90% of it has to do with being to park in a relatively secure area and not dealing with aggressive protesters camping outside my federal building as I'm going to and from work.
FLETC certification for college credit - California?
Has anyone tried using their FLETC certifications such as CITP/UPTP, or even more agency-specific training such as ERO's BIETP or the USMS academy for college credit while studying for a criminal justice degree?

I remember there was one community college in Brunswick (literally near FLETC) that was offering credit but I'm curious if this has worked for people in other states, specifically California.

I know a CJ degree itself isn't useful but I've been working in the field for a little over 2 years now and at this point a bachelors is just a check in the box for me.
E-MIB
After 3 years of 11B I'm latmoving to 35G and going to an "Expeditionary Military Intelligence Battalion".
I already have a good idea of what a 35G does and my latmove/unit transfer process went alot faster due to me already having the proper clearance needed. Obviously without War Thunder-style gaming leaks, OPSEC violations, etc, can anyone tell me what qualify of life is like in an E-MIB as well as opportunities for Title 10, unit mobilizations/deployment, etc?
EDIT: oh hows Fort Huachuca and AIT for prior service? Scheduled to go in November
