Does anyone have any experience on what to do if you want to get an increase in pay before EOD?

I am currently a GS 11 Step 5 equivalent with 4.5 years as a GS 11. From my understanding no one can start academy higher than a GS 9, but could they or would they match my pay or at least get it closer? I’m excited to start but I’m also taking a 21K pay decrease.

Is it possible to ask to be made a GS 9 step 10 so that it is more comparable to what a currently make? My current location as a fed employee and my new CBP location are both “rest of us” in locality.

Any one know if you’re allowed to have a remote job after hours are FLETC? As long as it doesn’t interfere with the academy?

Hi, I’m currently a dual applicant for both the Border Patrol Agent and CBP Officer positions. If I complete and pass the BP box test for one application, will that same box test result apply to both applications, or would I need to complete a separate box for each positions?

All the veterans, I heard from two different veterans about mental. one says you if you say you active getting treatments like go see a therephy and taking medication that could disqualify you. unless your phychiatrist can say you are able to perform duties

another one got denied and assume he did not get treatments from VA so that got denied.

So which one is it?
