Escalante 4 poor quality?

Escalante 4 poor quality?

At the back of the heel on my brand new Escalante 4 there is already developed a hole. The shoes are under 2 months old.

I take really good care of them. I always tighten them well and untighten them before I take the shoes off. I don't kick them off etc. I wear socks and I haven't used them for running yet.

Should they really develop holes this early?

DVDRip collections?

I had many (thousands) of DVD's back in the day. Sold all of them because I was blinded by technology and 4k. I regret it now and want them back. Is there any big collections of DVDrips out there to download? I do want to go back to physical discs.

Want to buy a DXP4800 Pro, but unsure about system on 1 disk only

I understand that the UGOS Pro system is installed on the included 128GB disk and cannot be moved or installed to a RAID 1 SSD?

What if the system disk stops working? This seems like a big concern?

This is my home network:

- Fiber from my local vendor in bridge mode

- Fiber is connected to TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro that is in Wi-Fi Router mode (DECO main router has static IP)

- NAS is directly connected to my deco main router (NAS has static IP address)

- Devices are connected to deco's around the house (I have 3 deco's) (Devices have DHCP)

The other day, some workers who is digging in the road, messed up the fiber cable and thus I was without internet for 2 days. No problem for me since I'm self hostet, but little did I know that my whole network stopped working.

I could not connect to my NAS at all! I couldn't even ping it?! I could ping my router and many other devices. That's weird right?

So what is going on here? I use Apple products.

I tried to ask chatGPT about this, but the conclusion was that my deco's were faulty and I should buy Asus or whatever. I cannot believe this and the deco network should work without internett access right?

Any idea how to troubleshoot this and where to begin?

I want everything to work even if my internet is down. I want to have full access to my NAS and home network.

Any help would make me grateful :)
