Nukumizu's childhood friend would come as a huge shock to Yanami.

If you really analyze the story so far, Shiratama is the one winning the romance race.

I’ve read the novel several times, and while Shiratama who appears after Volume 7 might come across as a manipulative attention seeker, she is actually quite strategic about her relationship with Nukumizu; she knows his tastes and how to gradually get closer to him, as she is genuinely interested in him romantically. I always recall her telling Kaju that she prefers to do things while in a relationship and let love develop over time. The only ones she views as threats are Lemon and Basori. In Volume 8.5, when Kazuhiko carries Lemon "bridal style" to the other room, Shiratama is the one who feels the most jealous; she had believed that Nukumizu only performed that specific carry with her like in Volume 7, when he carried her that way the entire distance after they fled the ceremony hall. Then there is Basori: Shiratama knows Basori is in love with Nukumizu and is always trying to find out if he is going out to meet her, given that it has happened on two occasions.

I finished reading Volume 7 and it was terrible; is it worth continuing?

I started with the manga first; the story drew me in, so I caught up. Then I waited for the anime, and finally, I started reading the light novel from Volume 1. The story got interesting because of Amami—her romance added a compelling element, and I wanted to see how the situation involving her unrequited love for Maki and Asanagi would play out. However, seeing the resolution and how Yui was treated left a really bad taste in my mouth—especially Asanagi’s hypocritical attitude and Maki acting like a total simp. Given the conclusion the author provided for Yui’s first love arc at the end of that volume, I’m wondering if it’s even worth reading the rest of the series. What are your honest opinions? Thanks.

[The novel’s extra] After reading the manhwa, I moved on to the novel; I regretted the wasted time.

I ended up reading the whole novel, and after the final battle when he decides to stay in the novel's world I was really curious to see how things would play out since everyone had forgotten him. But as I kept reading, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth; there were so many loose ends and nonsensical plot points. And that ending where he winds up with the female boss? Bro, the chemistry he had with Nayun, Yoo Yeonha, or even Rachel—especially considering Evandel was basically his "daughter" made that decision feel terrible. What a waste of time. If anyone asked for a recommendation, I’d say the novel is excellent right up until the end, which is full of nonsense and unanswered questions.

Does anyone know what happened to Koharu at the end of Vol. 9?

I read Volume 9 all the way though without the extras and I only know that she left Nukumizu's place after breaking up with Sakurai. But what happened to her? Will she remain relevant in the upcoming volumes, or has the author said anything about her?

How might Sakurai's girlfriend be introduced in Volume 9?

Nukumizu considers Sakurai one of his cherished friends, and there is no doubt he would try to help his friend's girlfriend with any difficulties she might face because "that's just the kind of person he is" but what kind of personality do you think she has?
