Taylor Swift’s newlywed bliss under threat – as Blake Lively gets ready to speak out on their fallout

Taylor Swift’s newlywed bliss under threat – as Blake Lively gets ready to speak out on their fallout

Is this a threat?

____________

She’s brutally cut her former BFF out of her life, but she can’t avoid being part of the story

If there’s one thing we know about Taylor Swift, it’s that she’d ‘very much like to be excluded from this narrative’. It’s the line she first uttered 10 years ago, after being embroiled in a public spat with Kim Kardashian and then husband Kanye West – and it’s the policy she’s been strictly following yet again when it comes to her ex best friend, Blake Lively.

As pop culturists will remember, Taylor, 36, and Blake, 38, had a showbiz friendship that, for over a decade, positioned Blake as the queen bee of Taylor’s girl gang. She was even entrusted with directing one of Taylor’s music videos, while Taylor was named godmother of all four of Blake and husband Ryan Reynolds’ children. But the love died early last year, when Taylor was unwittingly implicated in her BFF’s very public legal battle against actor and director Justin Baldoni.

At first, it was bad enough for the superstar to see that Blake had ostensibly used her as a bargaining chip, name-dropping her in thinly-veiled threats to Justin, and describing her as her Game of Thrones-type ‘dragon’, in what is believed to have been a bid to ‘take over’ their film, It Ends With Us, which Justin was directing. But then, jaws dropped when Blake’s private emails and texts were released, which showed that Taylor had initially colluded with Blake to help her gain the upper hand, and had referred to Justin as a ‘bitch’ and a ‘doofus’. Evidently, we saw their friendship sour before our eyes as their correspondence got colder, with Taylor eventually telling her friend she felt like she was treating her like a corporate ally in her legal battle.

Long story short, the friendship crashed and burned – and nowhere was that more obvious than at Taylor and Travis Kelce’s behemothic wedding in early July, which gathered every single celebrity you could ever possibly think of at Madison Square Garden arena. Every celebrity, that is, except Blake.

Until then, all parties had remained silent, ostensibly letting their public distancing do the talking. But then, director Justin set the cat among the pigeons just days after the wedding, when he piped up – breaking his two-year silence on his battle against Blake.

Speaking in an Instagram video alongside his wife, Emily Baldoni, he said, ‘We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years, and it’s not because we haven’t had anything to say, because lord knows we have.’ They then both thanked their followers for not blindly following Blake’s narrative – which accused Justin of sexual harassment on set (charges that were dismissed) – and added, ‘So many of you had discernment, and you used your intuition, and you trusted that.’

Emily added, ‘There is so much more to say. That time will come’.

With that being said, we’re told that Blake’s feeling anxious. She and Justin reached an out-of-court settlement in May, with neither one ordered to pay damages to the other. Since then, she’s been waiting for the dust to settle, but the fact that Justin’s reclaimed his public voice has got her feeling nervous about what more he has to say – and with that in mind, she’s prepared to answer back.

As for where all this leaves Taylor, insiders say she’s absolutely fuming over what this could mean when it comes to her unwanted part in the neverending war of words. She’s already brutally – and demonstrably – cut Blake out of her life. But having Justin, and Blake in turn, speak up will inevitably mean her name gets dragged back in to the mix. What’s worse, with Blake feeling loose-lipped, we’re told Taylor’s worried she might decide to speak even more directly about her former BFF. Having been top dog in Taylor’s inner circle for so long, you can be sure she knows where all the bodies are buried, and – with nothing to lose – who knows what she could share?

‘The longer that Blake is vilified, the more likely it is that she’ll decide to have her say and explain everything she’s been through,’ says an insider close to the former friends. ‘It wouldn’t be about making money - it would simply be about clearing her name and telling her side of the nightmare. For Taylor, though, that would be a worst-case scenario because she’s incredibly sensitive about any private details coming out that she hasn’t approved.

‘Blake would never go all scorched earth on her, but – after so many years of friendship – she knows a whole lot about her, and the prospect of any of that becoming public would be an absolute disaster for her if it were to happen.’

Let’s remember, Taylor knows better than most the power of being the one to tell a story. She’s made a whole career out of it, famously singing, ‘I’ve got a blank page, baby…and I’ll write your name.’ But while she loves to tell a story, she hates being embroiled in one, which is why she was so quick to delete Blake from her life. But even if the latter does bite her tongue, there’s no guaranteeing that Justin will do the same. He’s already intimated that it’s only a matter of time before he speaks up more, and though his grievances are specifically aimed at Blake, there’s no denying that Taylor, at one point, was indeed involved. So, whether she likes it or not, she’s part of his story.

‘The reality is that she’s always going to be tied to this drama – there’s no escaping that,’ says our source. ‘So, if Blake goes ahead and hits back at Justin, it’s inevitably going to put Taylor back in the news cycle in a way that’s bound to get under her skin. It would be different if Justin was content to let this fade away, but, based on what he and his wife said, it seems pretty clear that he isn’t ready to do that. And Blake’s only human, so of course she’s going to want to defend herself, or – even better – get ahead of them and tell her side of the story.’

For now, it seems that all Taylor can do is hold her breath and hope that, if Blake and Justin do indeed start slinging mud yet again, she’ll stay largely out of the firing line. Yes, Blake must know the finer details of Taylor’s precious inner sanctum, but she also knows that having Taylor on somewhat amicable terms is better than having her as an enemy. After all, as her and Travis’ wedding attests, she has the whole of Hollywood in her corner. Blake won’t want to take on the whole army of Tinseltown. Justin, meanwhile, might be dicier – but the truth is, Taylor’s just a footnote on the massive thesis he must have to write about Blake. Let’s hope, for Taylor’s sake, she’s by and large excluded from this narrative.

Ryan Reynolds’ Role in the Justin Baldoni Smear Campaign and Hollywood PR Dynamics - Kjersti Flaa

MOD NOTE:

I wanted to personally share this video. I would encourage you to watch it yourself - it's only 26 minutes.

In my opinion, Flaa has been extraordinary in her commitment to pursuing the facts surrounding this case, but I also wanted to add some thoughts regarding one specific portion of her video that pertains to our sub.

  • We know it can be frustrating when guidance feels unclear, especially when it comes to handling certain content creators.
  • We’re working directly with Reddit to get clearer direction on how to handle public figures who don’t want their content discussed publicly.
  • We get that the rules in this sub have evolved during this lawsuit, and that may feel weird at times, but I want to assure you that every mod here has been a regular member too. We’ve all felt that same frustration when things change mid‑stream. None of us are outsiders. We're doing our best to keep the sub steady while more members join, and the other lawsuits evolve.
  • I’m personally asking for a little patience while we sort this out. It’s a headache, honestly, but we’re doing our best to get it right.
  • In full transparency: I don’t condone the false allegations and misinformation being spread about Justin Baldoni or the Wayfarer parties by a handful of small content creator accounts. We’re working on a Reddit‑approved way to address it and will update everyone once we have clearer guidance.
  • Lastly, please know: our mod team cares deeply about this community, its preservation, the quality content you’ve all built since early 2025, and keeping the conversation going.

VIDEO SUMMARY

Main allegation: Ryan Reynolds and a smear campaign

  • Kjersti shares that Ryan Reynolds is STILL liking and amplifying social media posts (TO THIS DAY) that portray Justin Baldoni as a creep, which she frames as part of an active smear campaign.
  • She points to specific Instagram posts and creators (MJ and Expat specifically) whose content criticizes Justin Baldoni; Kjersti shares Ryan publicly liked those posts.
  • She argues this is hypocritical because Blake Lively previously described being the target of a coordinated online smear, yet her husband, Ryan is seemingly participating in similar amplification against Justin.
  • Kjersti interprets Ryan’s actions as motivated by desperation to repair his and Blake’s public reputations; she suggests he believes discrediting Justin will restore public favor for Blake and, by extension, himself.

Examples cited

  • Kjersti summarizes captions and claims from the liked posts (e.g., allegations about Justin’s behavior, references to lawsuits and court outcomes) and criticizes inaccuracies or omissions in those posts.
  • She notes that some posts have community notes or restrictions (comments disabled) and highlights the apparent censorship of dissenting voices on platforms like Reddit.

Reddit / censorship anecdote

  • Please see mod comment above, and watch the video to see the content. The summary doesn't work very well with the images shared.

PR stunt: Blake & Ryan at a soccer match

  • Kjersti describes a recent soccer‑match appearance by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, claiming it was a planned PR stunt: they brought a professional photographer and later the photos were widely published.
  • She lists headlines from multiple outlets that repeated the same “rare glimpse into family life” angle and argues those identical headlines point to a press release from Blake’s publicist, Leslie Sloan.
  • Kjersti notes the outlets claimed “four kids” were present despite no clear photos of the children, implying Leslie Sloan supplied that detail.

Brand‑tagging and image of relatability

  • Kjersti highlights that Blake tagged multiple luxury brands in the photos (Fendi, Cartier, etc.) and suggests Blake is trying to appear “relatable” while simultaneously promoting expensive items - possibly to attract sponsorships or signal continued bankability.

Guests and connections

  • Kjersti points out guests tagged in the photos and notes the tagged connections to Taylor Swift, implying a network of celebrity ties and suggesting future shifts in who wears which designers.

Legal updates and threats

  • Kjersti revisits legal skirmishes: she mentions Jed Wallace (a Texas lawyer) seeking to depose Blake over attorney‑fee disputes and notes Blake added two new attorneys (Stephanie A. Roser and Ezra A. Hudson).
  • She frames Blake’s legal posture as aggressive and suggests Blake’s team threatened to financially punish Wallace if he spoke publicly.

Is Taylor Swift the ONLY Reason Blake Lively WAS "Relevant?"

Only search criteria - "Blake Lively" "News" "Past 24 hours"

Taylor Swift is featured in most of these headlines, and the source claiming Blake and Ryan were invited but chose not to attend? Doesn't really seem to match up to the titles. The worst couple in Hollywood seems to have been left off, intentionally.

Is this a play by Swift's camp? This seems like .. a lot? But also, is Blake only relevant in more recent times because of her "girl squad" affiliation with Taylor Swift? Yeah, I get that she is also Ryan's wife, but Taylor seems a lot more relevant to me than Ryan Reynolds. Even prior to this lawsuit. Thoughts?

To prevent this from becoming a low effort post, I am including an article I was curious about:

Blake Lively Finds This Part of Her Friendship With Taylor Swift ‘Incredibly Unfair’ — Source

Blake Lively is reportedly struggling to come to terms with the apparent end of her longtime friendship with Taylor Swift. New insider claims suggest the actress believes the fallout has been disproportionate, particularly given how close the two had been for nearly a decade.

Sources say Blake Lively believes the end of her friendship with Taylor Swift was unfair

For years, fans considered Blake Lively one of Taylor Swift’s closest celebrity friends. The pair frequently shared moments from birthdays, holidays, and special occasions on social media while publicly supporting each other’s careers. Their friendship became public in 2015, and it quickly became one of Hollywood’s most talked-about celebrity bonds.

Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, grew so close to the Grammy-winning singer that they named Swift the godmother of their four children. Fans also viewed Lively as one of the most prominent members of Swift’s close-knit circle.

Speculation about tension between the two friends began circulating last year after Lively’s legal dispute with actor-director Justin Baldoni became public. While neither Swift nor Lively has publicly addressed the status of their friendship, multiple reports have suggested the relationship cooled in the months that followed. More recently, Lively was noticeably absent from Swift’s widely discussed wedding celebrations. While several reports claimed she was not invited, other outlets suggested she did receive an invitation but chose not to attend.

According to an insider, Lively finds the breakdown of the friendship difficult to accept. “To Blake, it all feels incredibly unfair,” the source claimed. The insider alleged that Lively acknowledges making a mistake by referring to Swift as one of her “dragons” in a private text message that later became public. Neither Lively nor Swift has publicly confirmed that their friendship has ended. Reports about a falling out still rely on unnamed sources. However, recent reports have continued to fuel speculation that their once-close friendship has changed significantly since last year.

‘DWTS’ Judge Warmly Supports Justin Baldoni Following His 1st Public Statement on ‘It Ends With Us’ Saga (More Women Supporting Justin Baldoni)

“Dancing With the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba has spoken out following Justin Baldoni‘s July 8 Instagram video in which he publicly spoke for the first time about his legal saga with his “It Ends With Us” costar Blake Lively, and her words seem to indicate that she’s firmly in Baldoni’s corner.

Carrie Ann is not the only “Dancing With the Stars” personality to rally around Baldoni. Derek Hough and his wife Hayley follow him on Instagram, and Hayley has “liked’ his last 3 Instagram posts.

In the video, Baldoni and his wife Emily said they are feeling “gratitude” for the love and support they’ve received over the past 19 months despite the “injustice and the pain” they experienced.

Carrie Ann responded in the comments by writing, “It’s great to see you both back here sharing your truths again. I personally have missed what you put into the world…my heart is full seeing you guys again.”

She went on, “Healing takes time…and it takes community. Sending you both soooo much love.” She added a red heart at the end of her message.

Carrie Ann is not the only “Dancing With the Stars” personality who has shown Justin love.

Justin’s two female co-leads from his breakthrough CW comedy “Jane the Virgin” also both hit up the comments to show their support. Gina Rodriguez, who played the titular character Jane Villanueva and Baldoni’s love interest, wrote, “love you friends. Por vida.” Por vida means “for life” in Spanish.

Yael Grobglas, who played the estranged wife of Baldoni’s character in the sitcom, simply wrote, “I love you lots,” adding three hearts to show her affection.

A Lack of Context May Have Contributed to Justin Baldoni’s Actions on the Set Being Misrepresented

The dispute between Lively and Baldoni seemed to arise from a struggle for creative control of the film, to which Baldoni owned the rights, and later spiraled into accusations of harassment on the set. However, Baldoni’s countersuit against Lively maintains that his actions were taken out of context and twisted to paint him in a bad light.

In one example, Blake’s lawsuit suggested that Justin had nefarious motives for suggesting the addition of new sex scenes to the script, but it was later revealed that female Sony executive Ange Giannetti had written Baldoni, who was also the director, a frantic letter demanding he add “more heat” to the film and ensure that it was “adult” enough to earn an R-rating for sensuality. Because the 2016 Colleen Hoover novel on which the books is based is famous for its explicit romance scenes, Giannetti explained the audience was expecting something “grown-up and sexy.”

In another example, Blake complained that Baldoni had hired a “friend” to play the doctor during her character’s birth scene, suggesting a lack of professionality. However, it was later revealed the actor in question, Adam Mondschein, was a qualified actor with a Masters degree in acting from UCLA who has won numerous awards.

These and many more clarifications were laid out by Baldoni in his countersuit for defamation against Lively. That case was dismissed because Judge Lewis Liman ruled that the content of Lively’s lawsuit constituted legally protected speech under California’s Protecting Survivors From Weaponized Defamation Lawsuits Act (AB 933), and that Baldoni had failed to sufficiently establish that her actions amounted to illegal extortion.

Baldoni had an opportunity to amend his claims and refile, but he elected not to do so, instead letting the deadline pass.

Lively is currently seeking to recover around $8 million in legal fees related to her defense against Baldoni’s countersuit under a new and controversial California law known as Civil Code Section 47.1. It is controversial because it aggressively penalizes anyone who sues an accuser for defamation after being accused of sexual harassment. While designed to protect survivors from retaliatory lawsuits, critics argue the law is easily weaponized to silence the accused by making them financially liable for their accuser’s legal defense fees if they are not victorious in a defamation suit.

Throwback Thursday: Remember the Secondhand VANZAN Subpoena Blake Lively Tried to Pass Off as Production?

In the spirit of getting prepared for the Jones vs. Abel lawsuit, remember when Lively's team tried to cover their tracks on the whole Vanzan subpoena by telling Judge Liman that Wayfarer and Abel already received (the secondhand subpoena and documents) so there was nothing left to compel?

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.635782/gov.uscourts.nysd.635782.71.0.pdf

But the reality of the situation is that they provided a secondhand copy that Blake had, not a direct or original production. Did Blake ever turn over the original? Was it signed by a judge? Is it actually a valid subpoena? Does this go beyond unethical and turn into an

They might have skirted the Vanzan issue somewhat in the Lively vs Wayfarer case, but I am dying to know what will happen in the upcoming case. While using an invalid or improperly issued subpoena in New York is typically not considered a criminal offense, it is highly improper and can result in severe civil penalties, financial sanctions, and professional discipline for the issuing party/attorney. What will come of this?

And it would be absolutely improper of me to mention the Vanzan subpoena without also mentioning the sham Doe lawsuit as well (to cover their asses).

Town Hall Tuesday

Community Gratitude

Thank you to everyone who contributes to this community. We represent people from all over the world, including those who have been here since the beginning and those who joined as the sub steadily grew (and continues to grow) with onlookers seeking truth and justice in this ridiculously disturbing case involving Hollywood bullies and liars who have seemingly chosen money, power, and fame over the safety and livelihood of others, including women, families, and children.

This community has provided thoughtful analysis, timeline sourcing, in‑depth sleuthing, and a real effort to make sense of this ongoing saga. You’ve also consistently called out the voices who have tried to gaslight the public into ignoring freely accessible court documents.

And while we absolutely have a lot of fun here, we also want to pause and acknowledge the very real human impact this multi‑year legal battle has had on all Wayfarer parties. The egregious behavior at the center of this case has caused lasting harm to the people who were targeted, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge that.

We really appreciate everyone who shows up here day after day to seek justice and help keep the conversation grounded in reality. And before the usual adverse attacks start forming, as they have throughout this entire saga 🙄, let’s be clear: we are not an echo chamber. Every online platform sees what we see, and it’s reflected in the voices shared from all over the globe.

New Mods

On that note, we want to announce that we’re also welcoming three new mods, u/mikulasvirag, u/FrostySnow1801, and u/Hot-Turnip6537, due to the influx of new users and the sheer volume of daily reports. They are longtime, well‑respected contributors who will be modding under alts, and no, we’re not reopening the alt‑account discussion. It’s been addressed repeatedly in previous town halls, and protecting the privacy of our mods is not up for debate. Please join us in welcoming them! They are wonderful additions to the team.

Jones v. Abel Resources

The Jones v. Abel case is about to get hot and heavy, and we want everyone to be prepared. We’re putting together a dedicated resource post so the community can have a “one-stop resource shop” since it’s been awhile since we have focused on Abel‑specifics or the Vanzan of it all. Please stay tuned.

Quick Reminder: Don't Feed the Trolls - Report them

Even with a larger Mod Team, we cannot possibly read every comment in every thread. Your reports are incredibly helpful in flagging things we may otherwise miss (regardless of how many automod features we have installed).

Please continue reporting content that:

  • violates sub rules
  • appears to be obvious bait, troll, bad faith participation
  • relies entirely on unsupported speculation
  • repeatedly derails productive discussion
  • devolves into personal attacks

You do not need to “win” an argument before reporting it. In fact, engaging often makes
a relatively minor problem much harder for us to clean up later.

What's On Your Mind?

As always, this is also a space for you to raise questions, share ideas or suggest changes. Modmail is also open if you'd prefer to reach out privately. We read everything, even when we aren't able to implement every request or suggestion.

Thank you again for making r/ItEndsWithLawsuits what it is!

NBC's Justin Baldoni Hit Piece EXPOSED — And It's Pure Blake Lively Smear Tactics!?

Andy Signore purchased the article ‘Heartfelt’ or ‘creepy’? Justin Baldoni video after Blake Lively legal battle divides PR experts from NBC, and while that article has already been covered here, he points something out that is very interesting.

Juda Engelmayer is quoted in the article about Justin being 'creepy' when he, himself, represented Harvey Weinstein. WTF, right? Well upon further digging, Andy points to this article, As Harvey Weinstein’s publicist I talk to him most days. I like him, in which the article features the following:

>The publicist also employs influencers. “You look for key placements, people who have a certain amount of followers,” he said, paying them between “$5,000 to $100,000” for a series of videos supporting his client’s case. “It’s a whore’s world.”

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Weinstein publicist employed influencers to lean a specific way online, no matter how stupid the words coming out of their fingers sound. It certainly makes sense for at least 3-4 "influencers" that I can think of whose audiences are mostly compromised of paid Blake supporters two of which don't have real jobs and just grift online.

I mean, even Bethenny Frankel was approached (presumably by Leslie Sloan if you listen to the video), to 'cover' this case in support of Blake Lively, 🍵 ☕️ Bethenny Frankel - Just Revealed Someone From Blake Lively’s Team Called Her Multiple Times to Plead Their Case and Wanted Her to Discuss the Case With Her Audience in a good light to Blake Lively Around Christmas in 2024.

My theory is they couldn't get any real influencers that had established audiences, so resorted to these relatively unknown creepers who have tried relentlessly to build a 'crowd' over time. I'm sure the paid accounts that support them are just a layer of padding to keep up appearances about people 'believing' them, hoping to gain traction.

Juda is very well established in the same circles Leslie Sloan runs in, it would not come as a surprise to me that she deploys the same tactics Juda mentioned in the above paragraph.. they accuse Wayfarer of these tactics, but everything they do (Blake, Ryan, Leslie) is just a projection of their own behaviors. Every accusation is an admission, etc. They are the digital violence, and we see right through them.

On top of all of this, anyone genuinely following this case, the evidence, all of it, figures out very quickly that Blake(Ryan) is no victim. Blake and Ryan are the violence. They are the perpetrators and the world knows it. There is no PR that will fix what Ryan and Blake have done to themselves, and while they have caused a whole hell of a lot of pain to many people throughout this lawsuit, they have, ironically, really taken themselves out.

EXCLUSIVE: BLAKE LIVELY FURIOUS OVER JUSTIN BALDONI’S NEW VIDEO—BUT SHE WON’T FIRE BACK

Posted July 10, 2026

Hello, hello, hello...

Justin Baldoni has finally broken his silence, and insiders tell Naughty But Nice the reaction inside Blake Lively’s camp has been explosive.

After Baldoni and his wife, Emily, released an emotional video describing the past two years as filled with “trauma” and “injustice,” sources say Blake was anything but sympathetic.

“Blake watched every second of the video, and she was absolutely furious,” one insider tells Naughty But Nice“She believes Justin is trying to rewrite history and recast himself as the victim. That’s not how she sees it.”

Despite her anger, don’t expect Blake to fire back publicly.

“She’s not taking the bait,” says another source. “Blake has no interest in giving this another news cycle. In her mind, the case is over, and she’s determined to keep it that way.”

Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, feels very differently.

“Ryan is enraged,” an insider reveals. “He thinks Justin is reopening wounds that everyone worked incredibly hard to close. He doesn’t understand why anyone would want to drag this back into the spotlight.”

Sources tell Naughty But Nice the couple discussed whether to respond before deciding that silence was their strongest move.

“Justin wants to tell his story,” says a Hollywood insider. “Blake and Ryan believe responding only amplifies his message. They think the most powerful statement they can make is saying nothing.”

The lawsuit between the former It Ends With Us co-stars ended earlier this year with a confidential settlement, with neither side paying damages.

“Blake has moved on, even if Justin hasn’t,” another source tells Naughty But Nice.

For now, the loudest response from Camp Lively is complete silence.

Cheers,

Town Hall Tuesday: Reddit Administrative Actions

Hey all,

We want to provide a brief update on the recent admin actions taken by Reddit.

Over the past few days, Reddit has removed a number of older comments and posts that were previously approved under previous moderation. Some of these removals relate to content that is weeks or months old.

As a result, the current mod team is conducting an additional review of older content to ensure the sub remains compliant with Reddit's rules.

A few important points:

  • These reviews are driven by Reddit’s sitewide policies, not by disagreements over litigation viewpoints or opinions.
  • Discussion, criticism, and debate remain welcome, including of public figures and their behavior.
  • Reddit has made clear that attempts to identify or investigate individuals offline, and content targeting other Reddit communities or Redditors violate sitewide rules.
  • Some older content may be removed even if it was previously approved because of this reason only.

We are not revisiting or re-litigating past mod decisions, nor will we be discussing actions taken regarding specific users.

Our goal is simple: to keep the community available, keep discussion focused on the litigation and related public events, and ensure the sub remains in compliance with Reddit’s policies.

Community Rule Update and Guidance

Hey everyone! We have updated the subreddit rules to make them clearer, more comprehensive, and easier to follow. These changes do not alter the spirit of the community. They strengthen what was already in place and close gaps that have become more visible over time. Please take a moment to review the updated rules in the sidebar.

What Has Changed

Rule clarity

  • The rules are now more concise while covering a wider range of situations.

Continuity with past guidance

  • Each rule incorporates the foundation originally set by Suffi and former moderators, with added clarity where coverage was previously limited.

Context-based moderation

  • Moderation decisions are made in context. Breaking one part of a rule does not mean every item under that rule applies.

ModMail review

  • If you believe a removal was made in error, you are always welcome to reach out through ModMail for clarification or review.

Why These Updates Matter

This community exists to discuss the ongoing fallout of the It Ends With Us saga, including new information as it emerges, the upcoming Jones v. Abel lawsuit, and the surrounding drama involving individuals connected to this celebrity case. Because these topics are polarizing and discussions may become heated, we have seen an increase in coordinated or bad faith activity, as well as tension between related subs, which can undermine the purpose of this space.

These updates help maintain the integrity and stability of the community. They reinforce our expectation that users participate in civil, good faith discussions. They also help preserve the environment that Suffi and other former moderators worked hard to build, one centered on meaningful participation, respectful debate, and staying focused on the content here rather than outside conflicts.

Please Note

A few updated or newly clarified rules include the following reminders:

Moderator discretion

  • Moderators may remove content or restrict users when behavior conflicts with community standards or Reddit’s Terms of Service. Our team cares about the integrity of this subreddit and its members, and we make decisions based on what we believe best supports the community as a whole.

Keep the focus here

  • Please avoid cross-sub drama, references to other communities, and discussions centered on moderator disputes or subreddit feuds. These conversations derail threads and create unnecessary tension, and they’re not like us anyway.

Respectful participation

  • Disagreement and debate are welcome. Personal feuds, baiting, hostility, and attempts to escalate conflict between users are not. We expect good faith engagement even when conversations become intense.

Reporting issues

  • If you see rule violations, harassment, brigading, bad faith participation, or misuse of reporting tools, please report it rather than escalating in the comments. User reports are one of the primary ways moderators can quickly identify and address issues.

Voluntary participation

  • Participation here is voluntary. If the rules or content do not align with what you are looking for, other communities may be a better fit. Joining only to complain or derail discussions is not permitted.

Abuse of reporting tools

  • Do not misuse Reddit’s report function. False reports, mass reporting, targeted reporting campaigns, or reporting content simply because you disagree with it are not allowed. Bad faith reports waste moderator time, disrupt community management, and violate Reddit’s sitewide rules. Abuse of these tools will be reported to Reddit directly.

Final Note

Our goal remains the same: to maintain a fair, respectful, and constructive environment. We appreciate everyone who contributes thoughtfully and helps keep this community strong. If you have questions about any of the updates, please use this post to ask and we will help clarify. Thanks!
