Vet Visit Seemed Odd? Anyone have similar experience for their babies?

(Long post) Okay so I took my mouse to an exotic vet because he’s been scratching like crazy and when eating has been breathing weird. I’ve had him since he was a baby so I know when his habits are off. My mouse has never bitten me or my boyfriend since we’ve had him he’s the sweetest dude. Well the vet came in and Immediately blamed my aspen bedding. Saying it’s toxic and bad for mice and to switch strictly to paper bedding. So that was red flag number 1 for me. She then looked at him whilst he was in his cage saying she doesn’t trust mice because they all bite…. (Fair I guess 😐). She held him for 5 seconds to check his lungs (mind you he sat completely still and didn’t move) so I thought she should have been more thorough. She put him back in his cage. She then proceeded to put her finger in his face saying hi…. He lunged and bit her finger. (2nd red flag, everyone should know not to present their finger to a mouse?!?!) It was giving prove herself right that all mice bite… She looked at his fur for mites with a flashlight for 15 seconds (also not thorough). Does anyone else feel mice don’t get the proper treatment or care. It’s expected they are on their death bed pretty much for anyone to care to treat. She wanted extreme fur lose and scabs to say something was wrong. It’s scary because mice go from 0-100 quickly and for vets to want them to be very sick to care is wrong.

Rest In Peace my little Jarvi Baby

My little baby boy passed a few days ago. I haven’t gotten around to cleaning his cage out, it’s been hard. I literally see his little plant he made his home with literally one inch of toilet paper he used as a bed and just cry. He was the oddest little dude and had his own ways. We got him from petsmart and they are literally the best one that could be. I called in a panic and the workers all knew us and LOVED Jarvis and told me if we ever needed anything for him to call. (They even said to bring him in to visit sometimes 🥹) I tried to get into emergency vet but when we were on hold he passed. The worker came back and I was crying and she told me petsmart was going to get him privately cremated for free for us. He was so loved and it goes to show there is a place in peoples hearts for even the most smallest creature. ( My boyfriend made the first photo, which yes we framed lol)

Anime lash upkeep

Alright so I just got anime lashes today. One side is bonded better to give a more sharp look and the other is kinda not. I know once I give them a few washes they will be easier to work with. Does any anime lash girlies have any recommendations to get them spikey and stay in place while maintaining good upkeep! Maybe like sealant every few days orrrr? Please help ❤️😬

Best bedding, and GOOO!

Okay so my baby boy Tetsu has gotten mites. We have kitten revolution, but my issue is his bedding. I’d like to switch it up and add different types but I’m not getting the best info out there. He currently uses strictly aspen. Best recommended paper and hemp bedding brands please!? Or any bedding in general! I also don’t have any space in my freezer to freeze it so maybe some that aren’t prone to mites!
Extra: for his temporary cage should I not do 8inch bedding and keep it light until he is mite free?
