My dad bought it a few years ago. Guy said it worked, but his son unplugged it during the winter of 95, and all the cans exploded and they didn’t want to pull out the old cans and clean the machine. The mechanism that collected the coins is missing, evident by the bare Bakelite plug. But what I assume are the mechanisms that control the temperature seem to work fine. I tried following a YouTube video of a guy with a similar lacrosse machine bypassing the need for coins by jumping the 1 and 7 connections and putting a momentary button on 1 and 3. All I got from that was a bang from inside this housing that the bare plug was on. I took it off, and that’s is the picture with those, what I assume are, relays. Any help and advice is appreciated. My dad also has a cigarette machine and a hot canned food machine, and I’d like to get this working for him.
It wasn’t labeled any specific variety, just a tag that says Paw Paw. I’m wondering though, maybe it’s grafted since the trunk is so thick compared to the growth that’s in it, and the lack of branches. Though, I’m not too hopeful since it was only 9 dollars. Thanks.
I’m unsure how long it’s been doing it, but I noticed today that my car is making a knocking or ticking sound in the engine bay, up near the top of the engine it seems. My car has an exhaust leak, so I’m sure it’s masked the sound of it for a while. Car seems to run fine, no problems at highway speed. No problems starting, nada. It has oil, I was afraid it was a rod knocking so I checked. I googled it and the google ai gave me some possible causes; said it could be a timing belt, loose manifold, worn valve shims, or a stuck hydraulic lifter. I hope you guys can help me out, and please don’t mind the chickens.
I feel I should add that I’m not super knowledgeable with the workings of vehicles, I just drive them. If it was an old tractor, that would be more manageable for me. Thank you.
