Reviews, Opinions, Advice on Ozone Therapy and Dr. Homer Lim for Colon Cancer

Problem/Goal: My mom was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and my sister has been getting suggestions from friends for alternative treatments such as

  1. Ozone Therapy
  2. holistic and integrative treatments by Dr. Homer Lim.

Don’t know if this is an okay place to ask this question but let me go on.

I’m skeptical because I don’t see any legitimate review about these treatments online, not even on reddit.

I have already been advised by countless people to listen only to the doctor about the treatment plan.

Anyone here who has any experience with the above two alternative treatments? If they are of any good, I’m willing to believe and use this as supplementary treatments for my mom’s treatment aside from the treatment plan of the doctor which will more likely include chemo therapy but we will find out.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Medical care for my mom in Japan who has cancer

This is a long shot but I’m shooting my shot.
Japan has one of the best medical care system in the world.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer but she doesn’t live here so she doesn’t have the NHI.
Is there any way for my mom to receive medical care here instead of getting it back home for her cancer treatment? I mean I’m sure she can but out of pocket but is there any financial assistance I can get for her if she does her treatments and surgeries in Japan?
I’m worried about the finances. Cancer is a rich person’s illness in my country. I’m not rich yet.
Thank you for your support.

Edit: my mom/parents doesnt/dont have local health insurance.

To the survivors: what therapy or what alternative therapy were you doing when you became cancer-free?

We just found out that my mom has cancer last week. She’s 72 and is also diabetic. The colonoscopy diagnosis says “ascending colon mass probably malignant”.
We will find out what stage it would be and what treatment she should go or if she needs surgery once her biopsy results are out on Monday.
She has been only consuming liquid for more than two weeks now.

My family doesn’t have the cancer gene (my and my brother’s 23&me results indicate that we don’t have that genetic marker) and this is the first cancer case in both sides of my family so i’m not sure if it was her lifestyle that contributed to it or she’s always had it but just never went to the doctor to have it checked. She told me that ever since she was young she has always been constipated. She hated and didn’t trust hospitals and doctors was what I witnessed when I was growing up (my asthma was diagnosed when I was already 30 because she dismissed it as hyperventilating since i was a kid)

I don’t live with my family as I live far away, and only been providing financial support. She doesn’t have health insurance.
At first I was convinced we can reverse her cancer by focusing on her nutritional diet because she’s not a fan of vegetables before we found out, but the more I read the more I realize that not going to any treatment might spread the cancer even more. The regression of cancer is like one in a million.

I read that aside from chemo therapy, there’s immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

I just want to gather data and statistics from this community of what treatment you or your loved one did that made you/them cancer-free.

Thank you all for your support.

I regret not applying for citizenship right after I turned 5 in Japan

I really feel down regarding the things that I’ve been reading here from other people about being rejected and whatnot, especially after they changed the rules. I should’ve not waited for whatever reason to apply then. And now I’m here in the middle of my application, waiting for a call for the final interview and knowing my chances are now slim compared to 3 years ago.
Anyone else in the same situation or having similar feelings? How are you coping? It’s really depressing me.
