well this is a first

well this is a first

i had a crazy sweet tooth and ordered a dunkin chiller, anyways the directions on my order say to leave downstairs in front of the apartment complex because i go pick it up myself, but this time i noticed the driver was taking an awful long time to deliver this drink so i got a bit concerned. i waited out until i got the confirmation of delivery and it was some random door in my complex. so now i had to spend a good fifteen minutes trying to locate which floor and which door my coffee was left at…. mind you i never put my apartment number in the notes and my name isn’t on any mailbox downstairs like what could’ve prompted this? i’m a UE driver myself and i can’t imagine what was going through dude’s head lol

Forgot to report 401k early withdrawal on my 2025 taxes. What do I do now?

I took an early withdrawal from my Fidelity 401k sometime during 2025 (before age 59 or whatever that required age is now). When I was filing my 2025 taxes earlier this year I forgot to include the 1099R for it because I was having trouble logging into my Fidelity and decided to file without it. I know, not a good decision. I just remembered about this and I'm trying to figure out what I need to do at this point. From what I can tell I need to file an amended return? I know that I'll owe income tax on the distribution plus the early withdrawal penalty but I'm not 100 % sure of the process and if there's anything else I am missing and if there's a specific timeframe this needs to be done.

Is the 1040X form the right move or is there another thing I can do here?

I want to fix it the right way but I have no clue what I need to do. Thanks in advance

26F, no degree

this is my progress so far! i am feeling a bit underwhelmed with my current career in freight forwarding and wishing to break into a new industry but it’s difficult with no degree or even knowing what else to do where my skills could transfer. i’m not too interested in going back to college and have considered obtaining my real estate license.
currently self employed, though i rather have a full time position and job security.
