I'm a brand new player, just working my way up from advanced. Currently have my speed set to 3.5, getting S/SS range on Advanced tracks, but my only low Expert attempts were barely passes, 80-85% range.

I tried moving up to 4.0, but at that point small patterns seemed to come up way too fast to follow.

I'm a long time DDR player, so I expected my sight reading to be pretty good, but seeing that most players are on speed 6.5+ blew my mind. Is there some trick to reading patterns at that speed? Am I just getting too old for this shit?

Brand new player here now that official cabs are in the US. I have some minor serious rhythm game experience from DDR years ago.

At the arcade I have not seen a single person who is not either SSSing masters or playing literally for the first time on a guest account.

I asked a guy yesterday how long he's been playing while he helped me set up my card. He said a year, then proceeded to blast a 14.

Am I crazy? People can't practice at home so other people in my camp must be somewhere...

Two months ago I applied for a purchase authorization. A month ago I received the approval email.

It's been a month and I still haven't received my PA or updated license. I'm concerned it's lost in the mail.

I've explored all of the options we're all familiar with - I've left a few messages, emailed various aliases (some of which no longer even accept emails).

What are my options? Is there anything at all I can do? Is it worth trying to go in person somewhere?
