I've been reading Mad Magazine since I was 7, so I was thrilled to take on the poster for this documentary about the magazine's founder. The ransom note design motif ties into madness of course, but I wanted to also use it to visually represent just a few of the magazines Harvey worked on during his career. When I got it the camera seemed fine, took one photo with it. The next day the film advance knob which turns on the camera is stuck firmly in place. Anyone experience that? I don't like the film advance knob in general so I hate that it's the unnecessary thing causing me not to be able to use it.
