Higher risk EFTs

I invest £50 per month on a direct debit, my portfolio is about 85% global funds and 15% in emerging markets. I am mid 20s and wondering if I should be investing in higher risk funds at this age? If yes, which could be good for me to have a look at?

Letting agent trying to use all of our deposit

We were issued a section 21 notice and have had to move out of our flat. We’ve been living there for 4 years. When we moved in, the flat was in really bad condition - filthy, broken fridge/washing machine/dishwasher and oven, damaged furniture and finishings. We photographed it all and filled out the inventory in detail.

Since living there we’ve taken really good care of the flat - we left it very clean and have fixed a lot of things. The things we weren’t able to fix we have reported to the letting agent over the years as broken but the letting agent just ignored all our contact regarding repairs. We’ve kept a log of everything we have reported that hasn’t been fixed. Now we have moved out, the letting agent is trying to use our deposit to pay for repairs of things we reported broken/were already in bad condition when we moved in. Can they do this? Is there any way we can argue this and get our deposit back?
