[HOBBY] Seeking Musicians to Feature in a Retro 2000s-Style Rhythm Game

Hi everyone!

I'm an indie developer currently working on a rhythm game heavily inspired by the classic 'Guitar Hero' formula, featuring a unique late 2000s / Frutiger Aero visual aesthetic. The core mechanics and visuals are already working great, and I'm looking for some awesome tracks to include!

What I'm looking for: I am looking for musicians and producers who already have finished tracks and would love to see them featured as playable levels in a video game. (Note: Strictly looking for human-made music, no AI tracks).

The Collaboration (Hobby / Unpaid): Right now, I am looking for unpaid hobby collaborations. I cannot offer upfront payment or revenue share at this moment, which is why I'm not asking for custom compositions from scratch. If you have high-energy, rhythm-friendly songs sitting on your hard drive that you'd like to showcase, this is a great opportunity to get them out there.

What you get:

  • Your music transformed into a fully playable, charted level in the game.
  • Full, prominent in-game credits.
  • Direct links to your portfolio, Spotify, YouTube, or social media to drive players to your work.

If you're interested in having your music played by rhythm game fans and being part of this project, I'd love to hear your stuff! Please reach out to me on Discord so I can show you some gameplay footage.
