Help! Looking for advice on backyard summer party must-haves

Okay so this year I'm turning 30, and I've been living in Florida my whole life. Honestly the first half of my life I was just kind of drifting, not really going anywhere.

But half a month ago I finally got my first house, completely mine, no roommates, no landlord, just me. Right now I'm in the middle of getting it set up. The interior is almost done, went mostly IKEA and Scandinavian style, clean lines, nothing too crazy.

Now I'm working on the backyard. Lawn and a little shed are pretty much figured out, and I'm also planning to build a small skate spot out back which I'm really excited about.

Now I'm at the lighting stage and I know this matters a lot for the vibe. I'm moving in two weeks and already planning to have friends over to celebrate. I already picked up some pathway lights, wall lights and a couple of spotlights from Govee. Love that I can mess around with different colors depending on the mood I'm going for. Still thinking about adding some roofline lights to cover the rest of the house perimeter.

But honestly for summer hangouts I feel like something's still missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyone have recommendations on what they'd add?

Are smart home gyms actually worth it or just overhyped?

Thinking about adding a smart fitness machine at home and the more I look the more torn I get, so I wanted to ask actual owners.

My living room isn't big, so a traditional rack won't fit. I've got dumbbells, but training at home with no plan and no data, I'm kind of just winging it. A smart home gym seems like a decent option.

Tonal ads show up in my feed every day and it looks cool, but it's not cheap, and some of these need a monthly subscription to unlock the workouts. I'm worried I'll impulse buy it, use it for two weeks, and end up with the most expensive coat rack I own.

So for people who already own one: is a smart home gym actually worth it? Is digital resistance genuinely useful or just a gimmick?

Lately part of my commute has been a mess because of construction, so I started taking my ebike to work. Haven't tried it for commuting before, and it surprisingly works really well. No more meaningless waiting, and I even have time to grab a coffee instead of sitting in traffic.

It's been a little over a week now, and now I've been riding it for other short trips too. Quick store stops, dropping off packages, going to gym, all the stuff I used to just grab the car for without thinking.

I didn't really realize how much all those little car trips were costing me until I stopped doing them. I'm saving around 50 bucks a week on gas now, and I'm also getting some easy cardio out of it. And it's not just gas, parking, insurance, and random stuff don't show up on my bill. My car needed brakes last month and that alone was about $480, plus it ate up most of my afternoon. For my Ranger 3.0 pro, I've pretty much only bought locks, a helmet, and a bottle of chain lube since it arrived.

Okay now I'm actually starting to seriously think about getting around mostly by ebike.
