Hi!

I've heard a few people mention wanting more community events on the subreddit besides RW Art Month, and got suggested doing one based around Rain World's decals/graffiti.

I personally like the idea because decals can be basically anything: symbols, creatures, little drawings, etc., while also being useful for region modders!

Would you guys be interested in something like this?

Also I'm curious what would make you more likely to join the fun! :D
(Like should it be daily/weekly prompts or a theme for the whole month, a competition, etc.)

Would love to hear other event suggestions :3 (I have ideas for music month, region creation, trivia game, and there are many speedrunning events already happening on Discord)

Wanted to share a name reveal for the upcoming Art Arena on Rain World Discord

This year’s teams will be:

Team Biology vs Team Technology

>Art Arena is a community event that now begins every year in September, where everyone is invited to join one of two teams to see who can earn the most points by drawing another person's Rain World inspired original character. This will be a month long event that starts on September 1st and ends on October 3rd. There will be more information regarding rules, point system, and how-tos on the next announcement (August 25), so tune in!

Comparison between Downpour and Vanilla in my opinion

I just noticed something interesting:

Every time I post/see discussion about Watcher it feels torn apart by two radically opposite opinions (often tied to ego)

• On one hand there are people who love Watcher and don't want to hear anything bad about it, defending it like their life depends on it.
• On the other hand there are folk who discard any positive side, like they try to convince themselves they made the right/wrong choice for buying/not buying DLC.
• Saying that you have opinion in-between literally gets you more dislikes than either being an "anti" or a "pro".

So let's add the shades of grey!

What do you like AND dislike about Watcher?

(Please be civil. It doesn't matter how big the positive/negative sides are, let's just break the bias :3)

Btw, does anyone know what was that Judge idea?

Also what do they mean by rot in LC (Metropolis)? Or did they mean it was cut?

Per requests returned the "Lore/Fanfiction" back into "Lore" and added a new "OC / Fanfiction" flair.

New flair can be used for sharing your characters, comics, fanfics and similar.

We thought that animations deserve their own flair, especially MAPs (Multi-Animator Projects). You can make an announcement for your MAP here too.

Had to share this, because it was so f*ing funny :D

Yesterday we were playing Inv with u/Linki488 through Meadow and we had some weird bugs.

Linki's had some creepy moving/standing/flying hallucinations.

The scariest part: on my screen everything was okay (cause I'm the host), and so I just periodically saw messages on Discord like "the eyes are back" or "HES BEHIND US".

And then screenshots with peeking eyes from the edge of the screen and faceless "something" following us.

Let's say Pebbles succeeds in rewriting self-destruction taboo. What happens next?

My theory: he will be reborn as another creature (like in Buddhism based on karma) Since he is clingy - he will become low form of life, like centipebbles.
