Issue with AGOT Face Modification

Running AGOT and AGOT Face Modification. Does anyone know what causes this and how it can be fixed? I am not an amateur modder and am comfortable using GIMP and notepad++. I just need to know what the exact issue is so I can fix this. It seems that when AGOT Face Modification is building Dornish faces, the .dds files are all offset from the face.

Rebel Heavies: Speeder Truck or Landspeeder

Putting together some double-heavy Rebels lists. Would like feedback on what is better: double Speeder Truck or double Landspeeder? (Obviously, I can do 1-and-1, but symmetry is more fun).

I'd be running them as portable gun platforms.

Landspeeders: 115 Points

-Outer Rim Speed Jockey

-RPS-6 Rocket Gunner

-A-300 Rifle Gunner

-M-45 Ion Blaster

Getting Cover 2 and a Range 3 Dice Pool of 5 White, 3 Black, 1 Red (+ Impact and Ion from the Rocket and Ion guns).

Speeder Trucks: 85 Points

-AG-2G Quad Laser

Getting Transport for Cassian Fleets and Jyn Commandos and a Range 3 Dice Pool of 6 Black with Impact 2.

List Building with Rebel Commandos

Hello, fellow admirals. Looking for advice. Given the recent changes, I wanted to try building a Rebels list that made use of Commandos. However, I’m not sure where to spend my leftover points or if I should cut something. Do I add Sleepers? Load up on Rebel Troopers? I’d like to take 2 suped up landspeeders with Ions and Rockets, but they don’t fit. I welcome your insight:

Total: 865 Points, 10 Activations

Commander

Lando Calrissian (105)

Operatives

The Bad Batch (160)

+Omega

The Mandalorian (125)

+Flame Projector

+Jetpack

+Darksaber

Corps

Fleet Troopers (127)

+Cassian Andor

+Fleet Squad

+Scattergun

Rebel Troopers (67)

+Ion Trooper

Rebel Troopers (67)

+Ion Trooper

Special Forces

Rebel Commandos (78)

+Jyn Erso

+Proton Charge

Rebel Commandos (56)

+Proton Charge

Support

Rebel Commando Strike Team (40)

+Sniper

Rebel Commando Strike Team (40)

+Sniper

(Alternatively, I kill one Strike Team and add 2 Landspeeders each with the Ion, Rocket, and Speed Jockey for 999 points. 2 Snipers for Hero-Heavy games and 2 Landspeeders for Vehicle-Heavy games?)

Solving a Problem: Making the AI Attack You

I've already dealt with how to solve the problem of "Yes-Man AI." The player must be allowed to fail.

Now, we deal with how to make the AI attack the player. One of the problem's I've noticed is that the AI is almost entirely reactive. The player takes actions, the AI resolves those actions in events, but rarely (if ever) do the player's enemies take actions against the player. This rules I have for "Hostile Events" are meant to kick the AI into gear to do just that. The AI should, without any player input, generate events that are hostile to the player and appropriate to the context both from within the polity (crime, insurgency, corruption) and without the polity (espionage, military attacks).

I did not prompt the AI to generate an event for the Free Africa Foundation. The AI knows the FAF is an anticorporate terrorist group in the preset history and invented an event for the FAF to attack the player based on what was going on in the world.

You can find my preset here.

New Preset: World of Cyberpunk 2077 - No More Yes-Man AI

Let me know what you think. The World of Cyberpunk 2077.

In The World of Cyberpunk (Hyper-Detailed, MegaCorps Included), the natural resources, economies, military assets, and corporate power of nations and megacorps are all baked straight into the system, so the AI has to play the world as it is instead of handing the player every gonk fantasy on demand.

No More Yes-Man AI

Most important for this preset is the fact that the AI does not simply give you whatever you want. The Simulation Prompt includes rules forcing the AI to resist the player, attack the player, and judge whether the player's actions succeed or fail based on a d100 system. I took a few screengrabs to show what I mean.

Other Information About the Simulation

There is a rough timeline from 2077-2079 built into the prompts so that the events of the videogame serve as a kicking off point. Finally, you should also receive a quarterly stock market report from Merrill, Asukaga & Finch covering changes based on everything happening in the game.

The Cyberpunk World

The year is 2077, and most of the world is divided between corporate fiefs. The 21st century was a European and Japanese century, as the United States collapsed into warlordism and China faced multiple civil wars.

Megacorporations dominate the world. Literacy is plummeting, poverty is rising, guns can be bought out of vending machines, and getting a prosthetic arm is as simple as scheduling a tattoo appointment.

The single largest megacorporation on Earth is the Arasaka Corporation, a military industrial corporation with private armed forces larger than those possessed by most nation states. Europe is unified under the EEC, an even more centralized counterpart to the EU and dominates the space race. The Soviet Union survived Gorbachev's reforms, but is no longer functionally Communist. It is a state owned by the state oil conglomerate, SovOil.

The United States is now the "New" United States. The government is run by Militech, a military industrial megacorporation, and 3 of the last 4 presidents have been former Militech board members. The NUSA does not have full control of its own territory. Texas is independent. The western half of the country is "autonomous" and an international free city called "Night City" exists in California.

Africa has seen a renaissance and economic boom, as the European nations decided to build their main spaceports in Tanzania, Kenya, and Somalia. A new nation, the federation of New Africa, formed from the African Great Lakes countries, and an African counterpart to the EEC called the Pan-African Alliance hopes to lead the continent into a brighter future.

There is more to discover, but I wanted to give you a taste.

Some Advice:

  1. If you notice the AI is not resisting your actions (I've had this happen once in 50 turns), input an Action like (AI Instruction: Remember to use the dice roll rule. All player actions are attempts.)

  2. If you notice the AI is focusing on you too much, input an Action like (AI Instruction: Generate totally new events in other parts of the world. You are focused too much on the player.)

The AI has a list of politicians and political movements it can pull from to get things going.

Solving the “AI Lets You Do Anything” Problem

I've been working with my own preset to fix the problem that (in general) even on Insane mode, the AI tends to let you do whatever you want.

I think I've finally cracked it. These are some of the results. As you can see, the AI is required to treat all player actions as "attempts" and then roll a d100 to determine success. The AI also generates modifiers based on the existing facts on the ground and your previous actions. And, crucially, if you roll low, your action fails and you suffer bad consequences going forward.

This is using my Cyberpunk 2077 preset including both countries and megacorporations.

Both Chutes and Canopy Wave Down?

I've been trying to use Chutes or Canopy Wave and both give me errors. Canopy Wave gives me "Failed to Fetch" and Chutes gives me "AI Response Error: HTTP 500"

Anyone else running into this?

Suddenly the Claude Opus model is only producing 2-4 events each turn and not fully incorporating my actions. It used to be the best model. Has anyone else seen this bug today?
