The US color choices are limited to shades of grey (I include white and black) plus one grey-ish blue on some trims. The least and most expensive trim levels offer just white, black, and dark grey.
In Canada, on all trim levels, there are 8 color choices, some of which are actually colorful! Of course, being Kia, they also get an extra grey.
I've been waiting, somewhat impatiently, for the EV3 to get to the US to replace my Kona EV, but the new Selto caught my eye. I stopped by a dealer today and was really impressed with the interior build and the overall car. I'm planning to wait until I can look at it side-by-side with the EV3, but it looks like the comparably-equipped Seltos would run 8-10K less. As much as I like my EV, the Seltos has a lot of value AND it would fit in my tiny garage.
If the supply of 2027s wasn't so limited at the dealer, I might have gone ahead without waiting but they only had one to look at, the others on site had just arrived and weren't even prepped for customers to see yet (I did peak through the windows). While not quite a blocky as my sorely missed Element, it does have a lot of the characteristics that made me really like that car. Given that I was trying to "just look" today, I didn't take a test drive yet.
Attempting to remove the shower screen for cleaning for the first time, but it seems that the screen was over-tightened when it was installed and I can’t seem to loosen the Philips head screw. I’m concerned that if I force it, I’ll be screwed if I strip the head. The entire machine moved without it loosening (then I thought “Maybe hold the machine in place” but this did not solve the problem).
Any ideas?
I live a mile from one of the Fellow stores and near their new maintenance center/HQ. Do I lug the whole think into the store and ask them to remove it?
Nerdy Thought:
— I bought a special, short screwdriver just so I could get to it. My other screwdrivers were too long to use under the group head.
— A hex screw would be less likely to strip and a hex wrench needs less than 2” of clearance, so it would have been easier to use every time you wanted to remove or reinstall the screen.
So I put an extra sensor light up there in hopes it would light up so I could better see the water level without pulling out the ES1. It did not work.
However, now if I walk by and the lights are off, the sensor light beckons me to make some espresso.
Was exploring settings today and noticed that Boiler Offset settings display in Celsius even when the system setting for temperatures is set to Fahrenheit. Is this expected behavior?
