Hi everyone, I'm Stan from East Vancouver (Greater Vancouver).
I'm currently building a simple AI assistant designed specifically for small and mid-size property management companies in BC (5–50 units). The goal is to help with tenant inquiries, RTB forms, notices, and compliance questions.
Before going much further, I'd love to hear from people who are actually doing this work every day.
Quick question for you: What are the most repetitive or time-consuming tasks you deal with when managing tenants and owners? (e.g., answering the same questions over and over, filling out RTB forms, maintenance requests, late payments, etc.)
How much of that could realistically be handled by a well-trained AI agent?
If you're open to it, I can share access to the current prototype so you can test it yourself and give honest feedback on what's useful and what's missing.
No sales pitch — just looking for real input from working property managers in the Lower Mainland.
Would really appreciate any comments or short chats. Thank you!
Many people in Metro Vancouver are spotting grey whales in Deep Cove and North Vancouver — and paddling/kayaking close for photos.
Important context: This year 7 grey whales have already been found dead along the BC coast. Most were severely emaciated.
The cause: food shortage in the Arctic. Due to warming waters and less sea ice, their main prey has sharply declined. The whales can’t build enough fat and many die of starvation during migration.
The ones you see close to shore are often hungry and desperate. Please keep a safe distance (legal minimum 200 metres) and give them space. Let’s enjoy them responsibly and remember there’s more to the story than just “Wow, whale!” 💔
