I am terrified to have brain surgury.

No hate please. I want to get this off of my chest and don't know where else to talk about it. So if this isn't the right sub just remove it or ban me. Sorry.

I'm 40 years old and have never had a serious doctor appointment. Never broken a bone. Never had a surjury. I grew up hunting and riding four wheeler, but I was always very careful.

I got an MRI done amd discovered I have an Arachnoid Cyst. I understand that isn't a tumor, but like I said, I didn't know where else to talk about this.

The cyst is on the outside of my brain, nesr the top left side of my head. It's about the side of a baseball. It's putting pressure on my skull, but not causing any serious symptoms. There are nights where I can feel a very slight pressure in that area.

Anyway, I am aware that this needs to be taken care of. However, I've had multiple horror stories from immediate family that are too long to go into details on, but my father died from a single dose of Keytruda and my sister's intestine got ripped open by a simple endoscopy. I understand most people will probably say "those are incredibly rare situations," but unfortunately they happened very close together very recently.

The idea of a surgeon going into my skull (whether he has to drill a hole or so in through another entrance) is something I honestly would rather die than experience. The idea of waking up and not being me bevause a doctor did something incredibly stupid is something I cannot handle.

I have never been afraid to die. I am okay with dying. However, I am terrified of being made a vegetable and kept alive by life support systems for a slow, inevitable death.

Is there any sort of advice I could be given to ease my tension around having surgury on the cyst?

Please do not hate, as this is a sensitive subject. Thank you.

New player needing help deciding where to build.

Can't post in main Sub cause karma limit.

I am.about 15 hours into the game on my solo server. I beat the evil deer and have set up a decent sized base in the Meadow... Almost have my T4 bench, most all of gear is upgraded and I also have a portal into a Black Forest area where I'm currently collecting ore for a bronze set and tools. I wantes to breif you on where I'm at in the game so here's my dilemna.

You can't teleport with ore and my entire base is in the Meadow. My portal in Black Forest is literally just a bed a portal and a storage bin. I need a lot of ingots and running back and forth with Elkwyr's ability is not cutting it with the weight of Copper.

I've read that some people will make a dirt road and use a cart, I've also read that people will move their entire base for this.

I don't want to waste too much time by doing the wrong method here. What is my best option for getting a ton of ingots in this situation?

How do I get back into bossing?

Longtime returning player here. I want to get back into bossing but so much has changed that I have no idea where to begin. I was looking at the list of different bosses and hourly GP/XP rates and it's pretty overwhelming.

I played back when slaying QBD was all the rage, and farming Celestial Dragons for a Visage was literally THE money making method. Seeing Celestials at just over 1 mil gold an hour compared to others makes me pretty sad.

I have solo'd the GWD, QBD, and was in a group where we fought Corporal Beast. That's basically my experience with bossing.

My skills are between 85-95 with the exception of 98 defense. What are some bosses I should consider learning?

Generally speaking, is it better to go straight into one defensive trait or mix?

Speaking purely from a defensive standpoint,

If you have the option to go 6 bruiser frontline, or a combinations frontline of 4 bruiser/2 bastion or 2 bruiser/4 bastion, is there a clear and obvious answer?

I understand that there are many variables that affects who you should play, but I'm trying to see if there is a generally accepted rule by higher tier players if it's better to mix or go pure.
