Hi! not sure if anyone will actually be able to help me here but does anyone know of any cali kingsnake breeders within the uk? I’ve looked on morph market and even there for the UK it’s very limited with most of them already being 2+ years but i’d love to be able to work with one from a juvenile, any help would be appreciated 😊
We’ve been renting a flat for about 4 months now, when we signed the contract it did have a no pets policy, however about a month in we asked if we were allowed to keep a snake and this did get allowed, we paid £50 and signed the change, however it specifically stated “the tenants are allowed ONE snake”, this was before the new act came into place.
We have another small snake that we just move to a different house during inspections that are done through an agency, however we would love to get a couple more snakes and want to do it the official way so that there’s no worry about relocating them during inspections, any advice on the best way to ask this ?
I’m thinking surely if one is allowed then I don’t see what the issue with a couple more would be but I’d rather not have the specific limit altogether, they’re kept in one room and it all looks very neat and tidy, non venomous and not huge, obviously they don’t free roam and are in the appropriate enclosures, so with all of this taken into account with the new act i’m betting on my chances of it being accepted are fairly strong?

I’m hoping to get my first cali kingsnake soon, does anyone know if either of these are good substrate options for it (i’m from the UK) ? I’ve always used coco soil/husk for my BPs but i’ve read that that can be too humid for a king, any opinions or better alternatives that would be available in the uk are very appreciated

Sorry if this is annoying and if there’s a ton of posts like this but i’m planning on getting my first king soon but just wanted to get some confirmation before i go for it around husbandry, I have 2 ball pythons and a hognose so i’m not new to snakes however this will be my first juvenile. I’ve done my research but specific questions I have aren’t really answered by google etc and would just like the opinions from actual keepers
Is it okay to put them straight into a 4x2x2 or do i have to get a smaller enclosure for them at first?
I’m going to aim for a mesh top enclosure which is new to me, so for heat sources, are you able to use CHE’s on top of mesh or should I go for a different heat source, if so what’s one you would recommend most for this? - I’m not a big fan of heat mats

I’m heading to osaka in June so of course want to book tickets for universal studios, the main reason i’m going is to experience the super nintendo world, does anyone know if when booking tickets (im using klook) i have to get the “studio pass + nintendo world entry”, or will i get in with just a studio pass?
