We played 40 games this next season we will have 55 games(hopefully). This will take a toll on the squad with our razor thin depth. 3rd this season was lucky with pool going through their problems. I don’t expect this to be the norm.
IT’S CRUCIAL TO HAVE LOW EXPECTATIONS:
This season will be near impossible to replicate even with a 10/10 transfer window. If we have an average transfer window we will be 6th-8th. Just please learn to walk before we can run.
In the end I cannot stress this enough good transfers are more crucial than manager be it Carrick(Whom I am in favour of) or Iraola/Julian N. It’s easy to get rid of a bad manager(Amorim,Rosenior etc) and harder to get rid of a bad player(Sancho).
I will be Cautiously optimistic and hope we can finish 5th with 65 points and one domestic cup.
I believe we all can share our ideas there instead of every 3rd post being about baleba,Tchoumani etc.
I think only posts linking us with a midfielder should be there.
I generally refrain from negative posting but man this has been a god awful season.
We had a mediocre team but defended 129 vs gt and 140 odd vs Srh.
We had a captain that performed and led by example with a 500 run season instead of someone who hid behind rana instead of bowling.
That team had a fighting mentality. This team nobody barring a few seems bothered.
Also Miller we are sorry we have a horrible management which doesn’t understand your value.
