This is my bioactive mourning gecko tank. There are two adult geckos, a fern, and some golden pothos cuttings. I added 10 powder oranges isopods about a week ago, and within the next day I found three dead. Since then I haven’t seen a single one. Yesterday I added ten more powder isopods from my colony, this time with more cork bark and leaf litter to hide under. Still, this morning I only found one, the rest were nowhere to be found. Do you think that my geckos are eating all of them? I saw one try to hunt an isopod once, but I stopped her. I also had a theory that maybe my leaf litter is contaminated, but I’m not sure. Advice would be appreciated!
