Hello all. I have a question for anyone who has seen the show and have waited for Gillian and the other cast members at the stage door. Does anyone have a rough time of when she may have come out? I know this can vary. I have a train back at 11:30pm that night, but would like to see her and get a signature if she comes out.
My dad is an Elvis fan and would like a Las Vegas live vinyl for his birthday. There seems to be quite a few out there and I am not really an expert. Is there any people can recommend?
I have already bought him from Memphis to Vegas but I am wondering if this was the best choice. Epic also looks very good, but not sure if this is style over substance what with it being a flash new Baz Lurhman release from the movie.
What are our thoughts?
The 2 CD version was a decent attempt at fitting in most of her hits alongside songs that did not make a compilation album previously - Everybody, Who's That Girl. The ordering of the songs did at time feel very random.
I feel that the 1 CD version was almost pointless, and should have been 2 CD as the standard, and 3 CD as the ultimate fan edition. Four different covers would have been interesting to see, much like the Michael Jackson Number One's album which was released in the 00's.
The cover was okay, but it would have been nice to see more effort with the inlay art with more retrospective images as opposed to the vibrant graffiti style that we got.
To this day, I think TIC and STR are by far her best compilations.
