MSW Orientation

I start my MSW program in two weeks, and the in-person orientation runs for three days, from early morning to late afternoon. Don't get me wrong, I am really excited to start my program and meet other students and professors, but does orientation really need to be three days long? I already have to attend separate Zoom meetings that cover field placement information later in the semester. Has anyone else experienced this? I love learning new things, but I'd rather classes start earlier instead of having full orientation days.

Plumeria my bf grew from seed!

His plumeria is about 2 1/2 years old, and he grew it from seed from a mature tree with pink flowers. He is very proud of his plant baby, as he is a big plant nerd. 🌱 :)

New Necklace :)

I just picked this up it’s 14k gold with natural diamonds and emeralds. It was made at a local jeweler in Key West. What other charms or pendants should I stack with it? In love!!!

Mini Bumbag + Romy Card Holder

I just got these for my birthday, and I am in love! I feel like I never see anyone with the Damier Azur bumbag.

Best Mineral Sunscreens

I have been looking for a new mineral face sunscreen and am having trouble deciding which ones are actually worth it. I see mixed reviews about Tatcha’s, and I have been using Shiseido’s Urban Environment Mineral Clear for a year, and I am just not liking it anymore. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Handbag subreddit

I love this subreddit everyone is always really sweet. I feel like when I read posts or comments on the handbag subreddit, people get so snarky right away. I literally asked what the appeal of Chanel as a brand is and got instant backlash.

The overconsumption is wild

It makes me cringe seeing the massive amounts of overconsumption and waste generated in this subreddit. You do not need to purchase an entire routine just for one vacation. That is all.

Edit: I am not targeting or intending to be judgmental or snarky; I am just pointing out odd behavior. I wish there were more reviews or actual discussions, rather than thousands of dollars in wasted products and potential return posts.
