Sorry if this is really stupid but I don’t know how to get my State EMT cert from the DOH, I only have the NREMT cert. How do I get this paperwork?
I’m looking to apply as an ER Tech at Tacoma General and I’m a little confused about the drug testing policies. I’ve been seeing conflicting information online on what exactly Multicare tests for, some ppl are saying they test for nicotine and thc while others are saying they legally can’t test for thc anymore as of this year. I also see nurses smoking in wright park all the time which is just making me more confused about the nic testing I’ve been hearing about.
I smoke but I am more than willing to stop if needed, I’m just worried that if I ask Multicare directly for clarification before I apply that I will be ruining my chances of getting hired.
