Kupnja motora s mijenjanom mašinom – iskustva s papirima / tehničkim?

Pozdrav ekipa,

Kupujem od frenda KTM 1090 Adventure R za 10.000 €. Motor je top, ali fora je što je 2024. ugrađena druga mašina za koju on tvrdi da ima samo 12.000 km.

On kaže da je to rađeno u ovlaštenom KTM servisu i da ima račun od zamjene.

Zanima me:

  1. Je li iko upao u sranja na tehničkom pregledu s mijenjanom mašinom u RH?
  2. Ako na računu piše novi broj motora, je li procedura upisa u prometnu komplicirana ili ide glatko u STP-u na temelju tog računa?
  3. Što ako je ugrađena nova mašina, a broj motora je nekim čudom ostao isti kao u prometnoj (je li to uopće legalno izvedivo)?

Dajem ozbiljne pare pa ne želim kupiti problem koji neću moći registrirati ili prodati za koju godinu. Svaki savjet i iskustvo s CVH/STP-om dobrodošli!

Help me choose: KTM 1090 Adv R (modded) vs 2024 KTM 890 Adv R? Looking for owners who rode both

Hey everyone,

I’m currently at a crossroads and need some real-world feedback from guys who have owned or heavily ridden both the KTM 1090 Adventure R and the newer 890 Adventure R (2024 model).

I’m stepping up from a 640 Adventure, and I plan on doing some massive long-distance trips (5,000+ km chunks, mixed tarmac and heavy off-road).

Here are the two options on my table:

KTM 1090 Adventure R (2018): Buying it from a close friend (10000€) It already has a Rottweiler Intake, SAS remove kit, and upgraded LED lights. However, it is NOT mapped yet (running lean on that intake, so I’ll have to Dyno-tune it immediately).

KTM 890 Adventure R (2024): Brand new, zero miles, modern tech, warranty.

Please DO NOT talk to me about the weight difference, center of gravity, or how the 890 feels lighter in the tight stuff. I am a big, tall guy, plenty of muscle, and I have years of experience handling heavy, old-school single-cylinder thumpers off-road. Weight is not a factor for me.

I want to know about:

The Engines (V2 vs Parallel Twin): How do they compare on long highway transfers vs. chugging through mud and rocks? That LC8 V2 grunt vs the 890 twin.

Reliability for round-the-world trips: The 1090 mechanical simplicity vs the 2024 electronics and potential camshaft/sensor issues.

Given that the 1090 already has the Rottweiler intake fixed (saving the engine from dust), but needs a proper tune, which route would you go for a long-distance weapon?
