Assalamualaikum.

I recently found out tylenol contains an ingredient called shellac, which is a glaze coating derived from bugs. I know many Muslims are unaware of this as I know many Muslim doctors who recommend taking it. I have tried to look for an alternative acetaminophen, but all the store brand ones have streaic acid which may be derived from cows, pigs, or plants. Does anyone know which brand of acetaminophen would be halal?

I came across an Instagram account I believe might be promoting a MLM but I'm not sure. I know someone personally who has a family member a part of this, so I wanted to make sure they aren't going to be getting scammed. If this is an MLM, I don't fully understand how they are operating or what exactly they are "selling". I'm not super knowledgeable on MLMs either so please excuse me if it is very obvious.
