Sig Collapsible Stock vs SB Collapsible Brace?

Pic for attention.

Long story short… finally got this thing sbr’d last month and now I’m shifting my attention to this platform after I got my new SP5k out of my system. I have the Sig Minimalist stock on it and I am honestly not loving it… the length of pull is so short (I’m not even a big or tall guy). The original brace that came with it is actually about .5”-1” longer because the brace part is so thick, that’s actually the perfect length, I just hate the fact how the factory brace swivels and doesn’t stay still. Not sure if the Sig Minimalist Plus Stock would make a difference in feel, maybe it just feels short because it’s smaller against my chest? Feels like only the very pointy end part of the stock is pressing against me? Can anyone chime in? I bought the minimalist stock from EuroOptics, the return policy seems like such a hassle and I’d lose more than I’d like with return shipping and restocking fees (if they’d even accept it) so I’m stuck with it.

My question: I do have the SB Tactical collapsible brace, I bought it very early on and have been shooting it with the SB collapsible brace for the 95% of the time I’ve owned this gun. Is the actual Sig collapsible stock much more different than the SB collapsible brace? Worth it? Any pros over the collapsible brace? What I’d like to avoid is to pay $250 only to have it be more or less the same as the sb tactical collapsible brace, only just to say “I have an MPX-K SBR”….

-Sig Minimalist Stock (the non-plus one)
-Magpul KOE+ 2 grip

-OCL Lithium 9 with Rugged RU3 TriLug Mount

Answers to potential questions:
-I’ve only shot it once with the ILWT TriLug muzzle to rezero, still semi accurate and didn’t notice a huge change in groupings at 25yards but I’d like to do more testing before I can give a definitive answer (I heard mix reviews but for $60ish I said what the the heck)
-Haven’t shot it suppressed with this set up, waiting to really see if the ILWT muzzle is worthy enough for me to keep it on before I go rocksetting it

SP5K - Rugged Sub9 or Obsidian 9?

Pictures for attention (second picture with 5.56 Polo K to get an idea of width)

Does anyone have any pictures of an SP5K or K clone with the new Rugged Sub9?

It seems like a really great suppressor but I hate that it’s so fat! That’s literally the only thing stopping me from purchasing it. It’s 1.73” in diameter compared to the Obsidian 9’s 1.37”.

To get an idea of how fat it would be I laid my 5.56 Polo K (1.6” something in diameter) next to it, through the pictures it seems skinny but in person I’d imagine it would be chonkyy.

I’ve been back and forth through Reddit threads these past few days and I feel competent enough to avoid a light end cap strike with the Obsidian 9 and tri-lug set up as Reddit seems to highly blame user error for this.

I should add that I don’t have anywhere to shoot without ear pro’s (only public ranges), so the fact that the Sub9 would be the better option to reduce decibels isn’t a huge factor. Price wise, they end up about the same more or less since I need the tri-lug mount for the Obsidian 9. Weight, they are more or less the same, so I’m not too worried about that.

Opinions? Pictures of Rugged Sub9? Regrets? What would you do?

First Suppressor, mounting advice?

I have two AR15’s in 5.56. Just picked up an OCL Polonium-K. Originally wanted to have it live on my 11.5 but now I like the idea of moving it between both of them. I like the idea of being able to take off the suppressor quickly for transportation or to shorten the length of the rifle if needed for whatever reason. I didn’t realize how much more “permanent” direct threading would having torque it to 25-30 ft/lbs to ensure it doesn’t back off. It sounds like it would just be a pain in the ass each time on the rare occasion I did want to remove it for whatever reason even though I do have a bench vise and tools (work on cars occasionally)

I’ve been doing a lot of research on mounting options and have settled on the Rearden Atlas / Plan B system and the muzzle devices that I will put on both rifles (see attached photo)

I really just want confirmation that the muzzle device I selected is the right bore diameter and that the length of it will work with the polonium-K. (Worried it might be too long or something and that the suppressor won’t tighten all the way down). Last thing is, any advice on what else is needed so the muzzle device is timed correctly? (i.e. crush washers or anything) and where to buy them.

I am also open to any other mounting devices, if you recommend something, a direct link to what you recommend would be very appreciated. I get super OCD and spend time researching things to make sure it works, so a direct link to what is needed what by great.
