Hi, I went to visit my house that is being renovated and a neighbour told me that the neighbour beside me passed away. It’s an old couple and the husband passed away.

I am not sure of the formalities I need to do or give in a Chinese funeral and I was hoping if someone can educate me on how I can share my condolences with them. I feel especially bad because I walked past the sun today and I did not know this news.

Honestly, the progress is good, but I have to really micromanage to the max which I don’t mind due to my OCD. I just wanna be careful about some things that I don’t have knowledge to look out for an I will miss out on it. I just wanna be careful about being blindsided on anything.

Here are the things we did. Basically a full renovation.

I am doing a full renovation for my older resale flat.

We did a complete re hacking of tiles and retailing for our kitchen and our bathroom. So includes plumbing.

We did self-levelling for our vinyl, and I really feel the self-levelling is not straight enough and I’m gonna test it by pouring water.

We also did a almost full rewiring for the electrical works and hiding the top electrical parts with Victorian ceiling conice. We are using cove lighting for the whole house.

We also installing brand-new door, that I outsourced myself, and I’m having a concerned with how we are going to install the door frame back.

Sanding and 3 coat of plastering (blue + red plaster)

Ive worked at Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Airbnb doing Online Safety, Programs and. AI Operations.

I am often the only Singaporean / Singaporean minority in teams and I wanna do more content to help Singaporeans enter tech and educate about tech.
