I've been playing a good amount of rise and the DLC, and I wondered exactly how the community feels about some things, specifically the first monster of Sunbreak Daimyo Hermitaur the armored red crab.
What do you think lf this monster specifically?
(Personally it has a cool design and is rather unique from the other monsters, though it is annoying to fight because of the armor and weird hitboxes.)
I'm currently playing the campaign and I'm completely stuck on this, I can't beat it and it's bothering me.
It's an apex so it takes forever to kill it, its attacks do to much damage, it repeatedly stuns you in the air, and its in the air so melee doesn't work.
I hate rampage quests because you have to worry and focus and a bunch of things at once while everything is hell.
Also if needed I'll make a follow-up post asking for help because I DO NOT want to fight it again!
I had a concept that I wanted to put out there, what would the community think of special Rare monster variants?
Such as a Rainbow Kulu-ya-ku, an Autumnal Teratadon, or an Emerald Basarios.
Not only are they visually special they also drop exclusive materials, like a rainbow plume.
My idea was either both a Special hunt and expedition finds-
The special hunt is a permanent unlockable mission where the player goes against three random monsters and a random variant at the end, the game doesn't tell you what monsters or variant will be present.
You could also find them in expedition hunts where monsters with rare variants can spawn, its not shown on the map but finding it immediately shows it. Though you can't find them on normal hunts, or at least not your target.
It's gives both a guaranteed way and a random chance opportunity to find them, with some skill and luck to.
What exactly do you think about this concept? Is it good or bad, you can give suggestions if you think of a good improvement.

If there was a collaboration, what Monster would the community most want to see in the game? Wether as a new dragon or maybe even a decoration.
Of course if you never played it you don't have to engage.
Examples like an Aknosom or a Pukei-Pukei in the game.
You can even make up custom attributes in the comments too, just don't go off the rails.
I have been wondering what some event dragons are based on, like how the avian dragons are based on certain bird species like the Regal Preywing being based on a falcon, I wondered about what Runaway based the designs on
Specifically;
Lustrous Wings- Copperscale, Gilded Gateleaper.
Busy Wings- Dottleback, Golden Strikeback.
Aorotoua Avians- Rootsnout, Velvet Shimmerwing.
Pride- Rainbow Raidiants- Rainskipper, Ancient Skyarcher.
(These are the event dragons I have, so I'm primarily interested in them.)

While I am to believe I'm a good player, problem is is that it's difficult to get higher rarity dragons like epic and especially legendary, I've only gotten one natural epic the other one is the GG form the fishing event.
I'm wondering if there's any advice on how to get epics and legendarys easier, anything helps.
I've seen people talking about something called remarkables, and I don't know what those are or how to get them.
If anyone knows or has any advice than please feel free to tell me.
(Also any generic advice for a midgame player is appreciated)
