Injured chicken
Edit: thank you for the feedback. After examining her and not finding anything really wrong with her leg, we determined she is egg bound. 🤷♀️🙈 we have given her an Epsom salt bath and massaged her. The egg seems to be moving down and her legs are working. She is much more alert. Hopefully we wake up tomorrow and she has passed the egg! 🤞

Original post: A couple days ago, this hen was wedged between the fence and a water bucket. We got her out and it seemed that she had a hurt leg. We assumed she would heal just fine so we put her in a separate crate with plenty of food and water.
Yesterday she seemed okay, but not better. She had eaten all the food and drank a lot of water.
Today she won’t stand/move, has barely drank or ate, and she has been using the bathroom on herself. She keeps leaning over to one side and leaving one leg limp.
We want to take care of her (without a vet bill). Any advice on healing or giving her energy?
