I just asked out this latina girl at my work and we're going to dinner and mini golfing. I haven't been on a date in years. I'm a super awkward and nervous guy and my last date legitimately ended with her getting lit on fire. (I will not be disclosing any further details, sorry)

But I really REALLY like this one. I seriously can't stop thinking about her and how I'm not going to mess up. I know I'm getting in my own head and all but I keep overthinking about how I'm going to make this date awkward.

Is there any great tips to keep it smooth and maybe some topics that can keep us engaged? ultimate goal is a second date.

Also: I know this is stupid but should I be texting her throughout the days before the date or leave her alone for the most part?
