Normal grease color?
Hi. Getting ready to take the 14 wrangler on a road trip next week. Changed the rear end grease. Is this normal for 105,000 miles? Couldn't see any metal flakes, but the slight milky color had me thinking.

The 1987 150 LE 4x4 Power Ram is back on the road. 49,000 actual miles.
My Dad purchased this truck new in late 1986. My parents then went on vacation between christmas and new years. I put the first 1,000 miles on this truck when i was a senior in high school. It's amazing how many teenagers could fit on the bench seat while cruising. I think it was over 8. Think of the movie risky business, except we were nerds that could barely talk to girls, and drove a pickup. The pickup was a business vechicle that didn't get driven in the winter, then spent the last 17 years in storage. My son was a senior in 2020 until covid shut his school down, he drove it around for about a month, then he left for the air force. After 5 years in Germany in Turkey, he got it out and is having a blast driving it around. It's amazing how bad this thing rides! I guess we've gotten spoiled by new trucks the last 40 years. He's also learning repairs and maintenance on this truck. It's so simple to work on. Anyway i though you guys would like seeing the Power Ram out again. It will be getting new tires the next couple of days. The Good year workhorses are over 25 years old and still hold air!
Hi. We will be in the hills, staying at Deadwood in the middle of July. We are there to go hiking and Jeeping in my wrangler. Looking for suggestions for both for cool places to go. On the hiking we have done Bear Butte, Harney Peak or whatever it is called now, and some random smaller ones. Looking for ideas. On the Jeep, have done china gulch road by Hill city, but nothing too exciting other wise, just bouncing around on random gravel roads. Hippie hole is on our list again, that was fun getting there. Were south dakotans, but about as far as you can get from there and still be in the state (ne corner). Thanks for you help!
