I got my camera on Friday and took it for a walk today. These were all taken using the ‘Hotel’ film preset. This one works brilliantly in bright sunlight, especially if you get a nice bit of sky in the shot.
The last two were taken indoors, the one with the glassware was a huge space with lots of natural light; the last one (vaulted ceiling) was in an undercroft with no natural light - hence the fuzziness. I got some nice portraits too, outdoors but in shade and they came out nicely too. I won’t post them here but they were taken same spot as the cup of tea, so you can get an impression of the tone from that.
So far I’ve found the viewfinder pretty accurate. There were also couple of random shots I didn’t take intentionally but that definitely adds to the point and shoot film experience! Serves me right for winding on the ‘film’ straight after shooting a frame. Bad habit!
All in all, a fun start!
I received my pro code for the app by email just now (woo!) and because I’m on iOS and have already created an account in the app, the instructions say I should go to the promo portal, sign in and then apply the code to my account. The issue I’m having is that I signed up to the app with my Apple account (image 1) so I don’t have a password - I sign in using my Apple passcode. However there’s no option on the portal to sign in using my Apple account, only username and password (image 2).
Any advice would be gratefully received!
