This Has Probably Been Going on Too Long

I see this too often: a good team that cannot get it together to find a decent starting guard. If the code is going to dictate that a team must start at least two guards and require that X many minutes go to backcourt players, it needs to make sure that the AI knows to acquire at least two and, better yet, three passable guards.

Team Strategy Could Work Better

I have teams in my league which repeatedly made the conference finals and finals still labelled "Rebuilding," and teams in my league making repeat appearances in the lottery labelled "contending." Since strategy influences trading, it would be better if we could get this right. As it stands, I have to have a house rule against trading for picks or prospects from teams that should obviously be rebuilding and not acquiring veterans. But that does not stop other AI-controlled teams from exploiting those teams.

Kind of a Moser Homage

I wanted a red-dial watch on a rubber strap for the summer bike-ride commutes to work, so I concocted this. Namoki dial in a 38mm case on a deployant rubber strap.

Hi. I’m making a Nautilus homage for my dad for his 80th birthday. Everything has come together fine, except I’ve never seen these pins that connect the bracelet to the case. They’re not screws and they’re not spring bars. Do I pond them in like pin and collar?

Hi. I have a question for you if you bought and received the new Baltany Pie-Pan S4106. Mine came yesterday. The description on the website says it has a screw-down crown, but when I unscrew the crown to wind the watch, it immediately engages the date wheel. Also, the crown can be pulled in and out without unscrewing it. So, I'm confused. Is the winding position the default position? That is, it does not need to be unscrewed? If so, it is near impossible to wind the watch without a pair of pliers.

Thanks for your help. I'm waiting to wear the watch until I find an answer to this question, in case I need to return it.
