Now that we know S4 is coming, what do want and not want for Loustat moving forward?

WANT: Louis to lead the vamp brigade to rescue Lestat from Akasha. I want Louis front and center getting his man back. I also want more than just one episode of romance between them. They've been apart far too long!

DON'T WANT: No more torturing or brutalizing Louis. 3 seasons is enough. Let him be more proactive as a character and move on from what he's been tortured by for a century, mainly Claudia.

Your turn!

DreamLouis in purgatory was legit hilarious. 😂

Slide 1 is my new favorite gif.

Can we get more Purg DreamLouis in S4? 😄

It was always there, Lestat. You didn't need Paul to tell you how much Louis loves you.

(I made a promise to do a companion piece to my other Lestat post.)

The parallels of Loustat (120 years of yearning)

"Woah, I can feel it

The pull on my thread from a distant, restless hand

Oh, how I need it

Just to know that you're out there pullin' all you can."

I swear he only gets this giddy and fidgety around Louis. I absolutely loved this little moment in Ep 6.

I will NEVER get over this moment. Ever.

I was so glad Louis got over his own discomfort and disgust and realized how much Lestat was struggling and just needed someone to understand and comfort him in that moment.

My god, the way this episode fed our Loustat hearts. Thank you, Rolin and Co.! 😭💕

Mom and Dad reunited, making terrible decisions together once again. 🥰

Is anyone else as excited as me at the show's introduction of >>!!Merrick? She was one of my favorites from the books, outside of her messing with poor Louis.!<!<

Anyway, is it the weekend yet? Why is it only Tuesday?! 😫

This scene and Louis/Jacob broke me.

Louis knowing Regina isn't Claudia but wanting so desperately to believe it's her reminds me of him hallucinating Lestat all of S2, knowing full well he was talking to and interacting with a ghost of his imagination, conjured by love and guilt and despair.

Oh, Louis, how you break my heart over and over and over again. Maybe one day, you can stop torturing yourself and try to heal. 😭

Can we talk about why DreamLouis is important to Lestat's narrative?

So, we have more of DreamLouis showing up in Ep 5, and I was immediately struck by the differences between him and Lestat's other muses. DreamLouis sits quietly in the background watching Lestat when we first see him. He then moves up to stare at Lestat while Lestat tries to sing. He never says anything or taunts Lestat the way Nicki does. He is just there to stare contemplatively at Lestat, neither judging nor encouraging. He is there as Lestat needs him to be.

DreamLouis then smiles from a distance once Lestat has the hang of things and leaves, as he is not needed anymore. He is a calming presence for Lestat, unlike the other muses. He anchors Lestat. He brings him peace when everyone else brings him chaos.

I cannot express enough how much I loved that we got to see the way Lestat sees Louis. His mon cher. His beautiful calm in the storm.

We may be getting very little Loustat right now, but let's appreciate how beautiful Louis looks in Lestat's narrative.

I mean, come ON. 🫠🥰😍🥵

Hey, guys! Our little sub Felixir and I started a few months ago surpassed 2.5k followers this last week. Let's celebrate with a free-for-all post!

I remember when it was just Felixir and I on here, a subreddit of two. 😄

Anyway, post about anything Loustat/show-related. Your favorite Loustat scene. What you hope to see in a future episode. What you've liked this season or hated. Hell, if you just want to rant about the lack of Loustat in S3, I am ALL ABOUT IT. We are not getting nearly enough Louis and Lestat scene, and I am seriously pissed!

Thoughts?

Louis du Lac doing his best Deadpool impersonation in Ep. 3.

Don't tell me I'm the only one who thought that. 😄

Also, vengeful Louis is the hottest Louis. 🥵🥰🔥🔥
