why are the higher ups so.... ya know?

obviously not all of them. two TLs I have are fantastic. but then that's just it... it's just the two. the rest of the higher ups stink like poo.

so many of them are so dismissive at my store to workplace injuries, accomodations, and you know what I'll say it: mental health. like hey let's not make the frustrated and overworked TM that you make do everything because you know they're the easier to push around even MORE upset by being a total doo doo head.

and of course if you're familiar with my previous post I am STILL dealing with my sexual harassment case from the literal SD. and of course, every ETL is defending her and saying I should just talk to her and handle it "in house" and not go to corporate or the ethics hotline anymore.

but I already knew I couldn't trust any ETLs when they all spoke about how much they love ETL A (that's what we will call him) despite the fact that thirteen women have quit because he was sexually harassing AND assaulting them and the store threatened them into silence and made their workplace hell until they quit after exhaustion and fear.

like why are 90% of the higher ups in my store literal like evil overlords? they're not even the normal amount of aggro higher ups like they're literally doing illegal ish and getting away with it 😭

how do I find someone to talk to?

I've been needing to report something for nearly two weeks now and speak with HR or even an ETL to start (not SD, because she's the problem I need to speak about.) I work closings, and every time I come in I feel like there's no higher ups for me to talk to??? it's really frustrating. we've already called corporate, but I need to talk about this with someone else as well here because SD is already retaliating against me at work.

Invisalign or a cheaper alternative?

I'm 22 and went through the braces journey as a teenager. it was rough. my teeth were nothing short of all over the place. I was so good about always wearing my retainer at night...

until three years ago when my spouse accidentally threw them away.

I had a tooth that stuck out and I can feel it slowly coming back- it gets stuck on my lip too, making it look like it's sticking out when I'm smiling really hard.

my question is if Invisalign is even effective, and if it HAS to be them? are there other reputable brands? is this the way to go?
